Days Inn - Kelowna2.5 out of 5.0

If you are driving through the Okanagan Valley which you really should (and lots of people seemed to be doing) then the Days Inn is a fine choice. Directly on one of the main roads the location serves our needs nicely coming from Banff to Vancouver. Rooms are standard motel rooms and the pool looked fine although we didn't have a chance to try it ourselves. The breakfast had good choices and front desk staff were friendly
We stayed on 128. Not a wider room as expected, just fit on 2 queen beds. I spot some dirt but can live with it. Breakfast are basics. Friendly staff! I recommend this hotel in a summer peak, cheaper than the others.
Hotel space in Kelowna is tight in summer, but the price was right, and I have stayed in nice Days Inn in other places. The photos look good, so I went for it. I should have spent more. The rooms are very tight in this remodelled old motel. While paint and (some) fixtures are new, it is not in great shape. Worse, the units are noisy, with thin walls and lots of foot traffic going by. For one night, I made do. However, I cannot recommend anyone staying here unless you want to use the little pool (when there are gorgeous lakes all around).
We spent 3 days at the hotel. Rooms are a little dated but clean. Breakfast was included and very good. My warning to all travellers is the ceiling on the ground floor leaks. 2 of the 3 nights the bathroom ceiling leaked water and the last night the ceiling in the main room leaked. When the maintenance man came in the morning to inspect he said it was normal and happens. Water leaking in a hotel is not normal!!
Friendly and accommodating staff. Clean and comfortable beds. Rooms on the smaller side but still ok as we weren't there to hang out in the rooms. Pool area was nice. Breakfast nook was crowded, hot and out of several food items. On the plus side they had a great outdoors area to eat. Will stay again.
Great value for money hotel. Room was clean, staff was friendly and efficient. Complimentary breakfast was ok. The only drawback is it is slightly further out from downtown Kelowna. Takes about 10-15 minutes drive from the hotel to downtown Kelowna
The staff are friendly and helpful and the check-in process was smooth. The room was reasonably clean but gave the impression of a tired, old motel. Bathroom floor tiles have chipped corners and the furniture arrangement had the bed about 30 cm from the heating/air unit. Bed was comfortable.
We stopped at the Days Inn for a one night stay, selecting the hotel as it allowed pets. The hotel is an average facility, and the reception area was relatively clean. The staff were friendly but unfamiliar with some of the procedures, so check in took more time than it should have. The rooms are decently appointed, with comfortable beds and clean bedding. The floors are not carpet, so I assumed that they would be clean. I stepped in a sticky spot, so grabbed a cloth to wipe it up. The floors were black with dirt, and likely haven't been cleaned in some time. The bathrooms are small, and cleanliness was mediocre. The coffee pot had sticky spots, so we opted to grab coffee out. The grass area used by the dogs is covered in dog feces. Many dog owners don't clean up after their dogs, and it is obvious that the hotel staff don't bother either. The pool isn't large, but is well enjoyed by patrons. Quite an active area that was clean. Check out is a manual process that took about 10 minutes. Time to update your systems Days Inn... All in all, decent value for the money, but I would suggest looking at other options in the area as there are better hotels for the rate.
-good breakfast -good bed -not comfortable pillows -very good tv -very good wifi -medium space in room -fridge is nice -room is clean -sink and bathroom are separate (good for a family) -lots of electrical outlets -huge mirror -good microwave -excellent muffins
Stayed here end of June 2017. Got Expedia rate which was even lower than hotels rate. Room was clean, bed sheets were clean. Room had fridge and microwave. Breakfast was a bit crowded but can't complain since it was free.
