We loved our stay at the Seabird!! We are locals and were here one night for my husband's 50th birthday. They comped our parking for the occasion and gave us a free glass of champagne at check in - great start! They also decorated our room with a Happy Birthday sign, balloons, and other decor. The hotel lobby is beachy, relaxing, and decorated with fun, whimsical art, plus at least 6 Christmas trees for the holidays. I loved the calm library room and enjoyed the gym. My husband had a very nice massage at the spa and said it was the most relaxed he'd been in a while. :-) It's great being able to walk across the street to the beach, the boardwalk, and the pier, plus the cool restaurants and bars on Mission Ave. It's also a very short drive to some great restaurants in downtown Carlsbad. We didn't have our kids with us, but they also have a kids play room, a pool table in the commons area, and a nice pool with jacuzzi. It's clean, beautiful, and the staff was all very friendly and professional. Would definitely stay here again!!

We paid for a resort but we got a hotel. Resort implies a self-contained destination with extensive on-site amenities. The activities were very limited (and can be found at most any hotel) and the food options were poor (dining off premises was required). The rooms were very small. The view was nice, the staff was friendly, the facilities were clean and new. The lobby was nicely decorated for the holidays.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had an excellent stay at the Seabird Hotel in Oceanside! The location is perfect, the Christmas decor throughout the hotel was absolutely beautiful, and everything was spotless. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making the entire experience even better. We will definitely stay here again!

Honestly, everything stood out. We were upgraded to a room with a view due to my Gold status, That was very nice! Check in was wonderful and the valet team was very efficient with our car as we had 2 road bikes stored there for the Bike the Coast grand fondo ride. Thank you all very much!
