Quality Inn Oakland Airport

Recent guest reviews

Good room for money I paid. Good location. Worked very good for my business trip.

The employee at the breakfast buffet was very nice! She was helpful to the guests.

Receptionist was rude. $200 credit card deposit is kind of steep for a room that cost $125

Accessible and great breakfast choices - not continental but full.

Aside from being given a key to an already booked/bunked room at 2:30 in the morning, the location was perfect. It was a nice place to lay my head for a few hours, for this weary traveler.

Nice stay. Will stay again when we fly early morning.

down the road from Oracle arena, not far from Oakland zoo, mostly fast food near bye, walmart 2 miles away, nice hotel

For a last minute reservation and no so expensive rooms it's just ok.

Do not stay here, the first room they gave me (room 234) had a broken window, the second room the gave me (113) wasn't even cleaned after the front desk assured me it would be, when I got back from going to the game the room which cost $134 smelt like dirt weed and mold due to the air conditioning unit that was wall mounted and made circa 1974 , possibly the worst hotel I've stayed at.

I call this hotel two months before arrival to make sure I will get a crib, they said no problem. I call a few dyas before to comfirm, they said don't worry we never run out of cribs. I arrive and No crib, an was told Housekeeping is gone for the day, there is nothing we can do. They price of I pay is the price you would pay elsewhere for a quite nice hotel, but this is a basic hotel. Pools was not working. becuse it was beeing Painted

I called two times before to this hotel to make sure I will have a crib for my son. they said do not worry we never run out of cribs. Upon arrival I was told housekeeping is gone, there is nothign I can do they did not even had a note on my reservation about my multiple calls. Pool was close also.

Hotel was average with elevator making extra noises, Hot tub out of order. Breakfast was plentiful and well presented. Staff was very nice and did everything to keep us (seniors) pointed in the right direction and reduce our stress.

The air conditioner didn't work so the lady at the front desk gave us a different room.

I was staying in Oakland for a long weekend. The location was good - near the highway (we traveled to an from San Francisco every day), lots of late night food options (we got back to the hotel very late every night including the day we arrived), and the area itself was pretty quiet. The other hotel patrons were a little loud and the walls and windows didn't keep out the sound. The staff was very nice and the breakfast was good and overall it was a great value.

Hotel worked for us. We were checking out colleges in the area for my daughter.

Overall the hotel was comfortable. Close to the airport. Close to shopping and places to eat. Parking is good as the lot surrounds the building.

This was one of the less expensive hotels in the area so I was just expecting a plain room and a clean bed, but we were pleasantly surprised. The room was very nice with towels folded in pretty ways and little shampoos and coffee in the room. Breakfast was adequate and the shuttle to the airport came frequently enough to make planning easy. I would definitely stay here again.

The location was really the only problem. The hotel was located in an area that did not seem very safe for me and my family. Also, the bed sheet resulted in a rash, so I am not sure how well they may have been washed or if they were just low in thread count. Other than that, the hotel was satisfactory. Nothing amazing.

I had reserved a non-smoking room and was given a smoking room. The front desk staff blamed the reservation company and refused to issue a refund (though my reservation clearly stated I reserved a smoking room). Unable to switch hotels so late, I was forced to sleep in the room. The odor was oppressive and had to launder my clothes the next day. The rooms are on par with a typical low cost hotel chain. The shower was decent, but the toilet had problems flushing. The coffee maker is great, but no coffee cup lids are provided. The pillows were plush and comfortable, the bed was adequate. The carpet was disgusting and threadbare. The TV is the old tube variety and extremely fuzzy. The A/C is rather loud, but the positive of this is that is drowns out the noise from the rest of the hotel. (The walls are thin and you can hear everything happening in the corridors.) The hot tub was not functioning as promised. The neighborhood isn't so bad, however, things get dicey a few blocks to the north.

Dark, old looking, sink and bath tub did not drain, they were not able to fix it nor they offered another room. Mattress was substandard, Not worth what was charged. Positive: refrigerator, microwave, free continental breakfast, and Wifi.
