Beautiful, classic Maine home on Great Pond's desirable Jamaica Point. Sitting on a half acre of gently sloping land the home is as close to the water as it gets. Enjoy expansive lake views from every room. Wake up to unobstructed views of the lake in a craftsman kingsize bed. Have morning coffee in the sunroom, go for a dip off the brand new dock, relax or work in a brand-new detached state-of-the-art office, or hike many of the local trails. This house has been fully refurnished with exquisite attention to detail. Very rare find for a rental property. House has 3 bedrooms and a loft with plenty of sleeping arrangements. Brand new full-size washer dryer comes in handy. Cable high-speed Wi-Fi in the house and the office. Plenty of water toys including stand-up paddle board, floating splash pad, life vests and more. Guests are welcome to tie up a boat to the mooring located close to the dock. House has baseboard heating in main bedrooms and bathroom that put out good heat for early or later in-the-season rentals. Home has a wonderful property manager local to the area if help is needed. This truly is one of the best locations on Great Pond and a fantastic property. Close to the town of Belgrade for shopping and dining. We ask that you treat it like it is your own.

    We had one of the best vacations at this beautiful cabin. The cabin was right on the water with a brand new dock and mooring for a boat. The property also had a detached garage with a beautiful new office addition above the garage. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed (except a dishwasher). However, even washing the dishes was relaxing since there was a window at the sink with a water view. All three bedrooms were clean and very comfortable. The back porch was our favorite room with four glinding chairs overlooking the lake where we enjoyed listening to the loons. This property had plenty of parking at the garage area (even for a small boat trailer) but it is at the top of a hill which made unloading and loading a bit of a challenge. The property did not have an area for a campfire but we didn't mind since we spent most of our nights on the back porch or on the dock looking up at the stars. The cabin owner was very attentive to all communication and left us beautiful cut flowers and a welcome basket. There was a welcome book with cabin instructions and suggestions for places to hike and shop and eat. We hiked French Mountain and saw amazing views. All in all a beautiful spot!

    I was so excited to find this cabin when I decided to plan a last minute summer trip to Maine. My family and I had an amazing week at the Donato’s camp on Great Pond. The house slept the 4 of us very comfortably and was very well stocked with everything we needed and more! We were greeted with a welcome basket of treats and snacks which was a nice surprise. The location on the water was perfect, we spent our days playing in the water and fell asleep to the sound of the loons. We really wanted the full lake experience so we were happy that the camp had a mooring bouy for us to moor the boat we rented. We rented from Maine Boat Rentals and had it delivered to the Belgrade Public boat launch which was very convenient. It was an idyllic family vacation, my two teens barely touched their phones the whole time. I was happy to disconnect from our normally busy lives and relax in the woods by the lake. The proximity to Belgrade was great as well, we enjoyed our daily trips to Day’s Store for freshly made cake donuts as well as our dinner at the Village Inn. The owners left a list of recommended hikes in the area which we appreciated. We went on the French’s Mountain Trail and the views were incredible! We’d love to come back and stay again!
