Have stayed there twice. Pros: kitchenette in room, nice views, very comfortable bed, good space, weekend newspapers on your step. Cons: no breakfast in hotel, A/C seemed to leave the place damp, excessive air freshener scent in hallways. Right now they're updating their elevators, which means it can be a bit slow getting down in the morning if you go out in the morning rush, but that won't last.

Busy city like Dallas. Beaches were about 20-30 mins away. Few good bars like Sin and breakfast places like Scratch Kitchen. Both were a 5-7 min walk so leave your car. Restaurant in hotel had good food just odd hours. The room was HUGE and views were impeccable! Next time I would island hop.

It was very comfortable. Definitely would come back and stay longer.

Downtown- everything was within walking distance- or near a bus stop($2.50 per ride). The room (actually an apartment) exceeded my expectations. Great for business or those not wanting to be at a resort like hotel. I will certainly stay here again on my next Oahu trip.

The hotel was not located near the beach, but it did offer a nice suite and the hotel staff was very accommodating. We were delayed over 17 hours of flying and they allowed us to check in the next day early in the morning at no additional cost.

This hotel is right across the way from the Cruiseline ports! Its so convenient. It's affordable and super spacious for what you're paying, and the staff were so friendly and helpful! Would book here again in a heartbeat! Mahalo!

Friendly staff, close to Waikiki, easy access to hotel even with traffic

Clean and secure with good amenities and excellent staff, central location.

We only stayed one night as a transition to another resort, but was not impressed. In the business district so not much going on Friday night and Saturday in the area.

This hotel had an odor to the room. The water in the tub did not drain and it took 3 hours to drain. When the main desk was called they reported that is normal. Very small tv and kept flickering. Overall not a good experience at this hotel.

Perfectly fine hotel, good service, comfortable beds, great views. Just a little shabby around the edges, but great for what it is.

I had a need to visit a customer in the Financial District of Honolulu. The Aston's location was ideal. I did not visit any attractions, I simply needed to be close the businesses that I was doing business with. The room was spacious and reasonably appointed. I liked the glass wall in the bedroom, (I was on the 33rd floor). The room was a little dated, and the Television was in the bedroom, while the only computer connection was in the sitting room. Outlets were not conveniently located, and I ended up with cords strung across the room to charge, and use my devices. The room was quiet, and check in was easy. Overall this met my needs well.

I just returned from a 3-night stay at the Executive Center. Pros: 1. I love the location with close proximity to downtown Honolulu. I was glad to away from all the crowd in Waikiki. 2. Rooms were spacious with small kitchenette, dining table, and separate bedroom. Now comes the bad news: the unit I stayed had roaches in the bathroom and its window rattled each time wind blew. I'm not sure if the windows weren't properly sealed, but I couldn't sleep well with all the howling wind and windows rattling each time. And do I need to elaborate on roaches?! I was told the condotel had full occupancy and could not give me a renovated unit. I'm not sure if renovated unit would solve the roach issue, but if you must stay in the downtown area, I'd definitely insist on newer units.

Hard to find dinning after 9 p.m. in area.

The rooms were spacious and clean. The room was outdated and could use some updating but was otherwise. The downtown location allowed us to explore some of Honolulu while still allowing us to be near the airport for our flight to Maui the next day. The free breakfast was very basic with bread, few pastries, juice and coffee.

We were here for medical reasons for my husband. We had to stay longer than expected and the hotel was very accommodating. I would stay here again. It is not a plush hotel, but it is very nice. All rooms are suites and it is very comfortable,

The hotel staff was very helpful both at the desk & on the phone--especially since I wanted to add another room to my reservation for my son & his family. They also let me check in early since the room was available. They were very responsive to requests for crib, extra towels & extra pillows. They room had menus for food delivery for several nice restaurants in the area. It was great to have food delivered after a hectic day. There was a drug store where we could buy snacks, etc, but since the hotel was in the business district, it closed at 6pm. I didn't realize that there was a market withing a mile--wish I would have asked! The hotel was close to Pearl Harbor & the airport. There is a $17 a day parking fee.
