The Space:

This single-level house sits on a quiet, rural property in Volcán, with three bedrooms and one bathroom, sleeping up to eight guests. The first bedroom is dressed with a double bed, while the second combines a double bed with two single beds and the last one two single beds — a flexible layout for families or small groups. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, freezer, stove, blender, coffee maker and toaster, alongside a dining table for shared meals. Step outside to the garden, where mountain views and a kids' trampoline make this one of the few places in Panama with a genuinely cool climate. A patio or balcony, board games, a TV and a laptop-friendly desk round out a home built for slowing down.



Guest Access:

You'll have full access to the entire house, as well as the property's shared amenities and common areas.

Check-in is self-service — you'll find the key waiting for you inside the property on arrival, and our host is sometimes on hand to greet you in person as well. Free parking is available both on the premises and on the street.



The Neighborhood:

Nueva California sits in Las Perlas, within Volcán — a rural pocket of Chiriquí's highlands known for its cool climate, a rarity anywhere else in Panama. A supermarket, bike rental, and a handful of local cafés and restaurants are all nearby, and the surrounding hills are popular with those drawn to mountain climbing and fishing. It's a quiet, unhurried setting well suited to families and travelers looking to trade the tropical heat for cooler mountain air.



Getting Around:

Based on the property's coordinates, the closest airport is Enrique Malek International Airport in David, Chiriquí, an estimated 1.5-2 hour drive along the mountain highway; Panama City's Tocumen International Airport is much farther and best reached by a short domestic flight rather than by car. The Los Pozos hot springs, a popular nearby attraction, are roughly a 20-25 minute drive. A car is the most practical way to get around this rural, mountainous area — please confirm these estimates with us, as they're based on the property's coordinates rather than a live route calculation.

Arrival & Departure

- Check-in begins at 3:00 PM local time.

- Checkout is at 12:00 PM local time.

- To ensure a smooth arrival for incoming guests, please honor the checkout time.

- Unauthorized late checkouts will incur an additional fee.

- The reservation must be booked by a legal adult; children are welcome to stay as part of the group.
