Even better in person

Casa Costa was a great home-base for our trip. The house is even nicer than the pictures. The space worked really well for us as we had 2 teens who wanted their own rooms. The location was great for the beach and surfing. We did not have a vehicle, so by the end of the week were were a little tired walking for dinner over to Playa Guiones North and ended up taking Tuk Tuks. The only thing we'd suggest to improve the house is an outdoor shaded space to eat or play games. The pool chairs were nice but some couches and a table would be nice. There was lots of space on the other side of the house that could accommodate this. Even with this, we would definitely stay again.

Clean, lots of room, but zero extras

The location is very close to the beach, easy walk, and also a nice easy walk into the town. There is a lot of construction going on at the moment, so the noise is constant, and starts as soon as the sun peaks over the horizon. There isn't any insulation, so you can really here that, hopefully that will calm down once they've finished building out, but this particular block did have a lot of work going on. The customer service was excellent when we had questions, and they were very good communicators. We didn't have any issues checking in or with the property at all. There is no TV, no stereo, no speakers, no board games, no puzzles, so not much for a rainy day, but the WIFI works for your personal devices. We bought a couple decks of cards in town and left them in the credenza for the next people that stay there. Overall, I thought it was very good value and we had a great time.

A Gem

We had two houses rented for 14 people. Nacho Casa was a wonderful family home. The pool was used continually. The people in charge of upkeep were delightful and very helpful. JB was amazing in his helpfulness and relating skills! The security was great, we always felt safe. The house was very homey. The outside area is where we lived. Played cards/games at the table and the furniture was comfy. Plus a short pathway walk to the beach! The hotel check In worked out great and they were helpful in planning excursions! We truly enjoyed our time at Nacho Casa! Pura Vida

Perfect vacation!

Casa Costa was the perfect home for our stay. Beautiful place, super close to the beach, more than enough room for 6 of us, and felt very secure leaving our belongings at home while away for the day. The property management helped us organize all of our adventures and rentals, and each place from Mtn bike rentals, surf lessons, to atv tours was great! We had a couple huge storms with electricity going out and the management team responded immediately. Thank you! We will be back!

Costa casa

This property is about 15 min walk to the beach. The water heater was constantly going off so it was totally hit or miss as to whether you would have hot water for a shower especially to the upstairs bedroom. The upstairs bedroom is very noisy, you could hear the construction workers starting at 6:30 am.. no hair dryer, no shampoo or crème rinse but they did supply hand soap. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils. but no oil or spices... the pool was lovely and Maria at the rental company was amazing!!

Great place, some security issues

The accommodation and location were as described and were excellent. Rent Nosara was attentive and helpful. There was no safe, window bars or a guard at this site and we were broken into in the evening and multiple personal items and cash stolen. The Rent Nosara staff were helpful in filing a report and improving the security of the location (safe, window bars and an evening guard) as well as partially refunding the cost of the accommodation. The place is great to rent as long as you use the safe, check the doors and windows whenever you leave and insist on an evening guard (like every standalone house in Guiones).

Excellent Stay!

We had a wonderful time at this property. Close to the beach & town. Each room is spacious and has large bathrooms attached. Great house for sharing with friends. Property managers were excellent communicators. There were several break-ins in the area, so they hired a security guard for our stay. Our internet also wasn’t working during our stay. After attempts to fix it, the management company paid the daily rate for us to have international plans on our cell phones, which felt super fair. Overall, excellent stay!

This property missed the mark.

We had a mixed experience here. During our check-in bars were being put on the windows as this home or maybe other homes in the area had recently been broken into, the pool is much smaller than the picture suggests and covered by tree, we were locked out of the house as one of the keys provided to us was bent and broken, we were left without hot water for almost two days and the house had no basics (I.e. soap, shampoo, salt and pepper, olive oil). Staff was helpful but not always timely. Great central location, lots of bedrooms, comfortable beds and linens and generally a good staff. We may have just caught the house on a bad week.
