The staff at Ibis Styles where more than helpful. Assisted us with getting tickets for the tram. The restaruant was very nice with an afternoon special that was excellent value for money. The whole experience was very pleasurable. I know that there are alot of hotels close to downtown with more charm and atmosphere but I think Ibis Styles is the best place to stay.

The hotel itself looks nice, and the rooms are the same way. Beds are comfortable, if a little hard. Good breakfast and Excellent bar services in the lobby. If you want to go to the centre, it's only a 10min drive, or a 6€ taxi fare away. All in all a recommended place to stay.

Rooms are big enough and good value for money. As the hotel is next to the rail station and big cargo area, it was really noisy if you opened the window. I had to sleep window open as air conditioner was still in winter mode.

Offsite location in the north of Riga. Tram (line #5) stop about 5min by foot away, ride to downtown (Freedom Monument) is direct and takes less than 10min. Hotel is quiet, no through-streets close by. However, some noise from the near rail freight tracks. Rooms are decent and clean, my superior double came with a separate lounge area and spacious bathroom. Breakfast is included and was better than standard. Great view of Riga from the 12th floor restaurant.

A good hotel, but it's located in a weird spot. More of a residential neighbourhood than anything. Pros - Nice size room, very comfortable - Good price - Accessible to the tram via a 5 minute walk - Minimarket within a 5 minute walk to buy snacks open 0800-2200 - Offers a bar/restaurant with decent hours to make up for lack of other options - Good wifi Cons - Not centrally located - Takes over 1 hour to get to from RIX airport - Strange location For the price, you're probably better off choosing the Ibis Riga Centre. As I recall, the price for this location was only marginally cheaper. I'm very comfortable taking local transit, with daily e-talons cards the hotel was easily accessible with tram rides. Easy to get to from the airport, just far. In the end, when I walked past the Ibis Centre by accident, I was disappointed I hadn't chosen that one. On the map this location looked pretty close, but in reality it's not. I liked everything about the hotel, the location is quiet too, but there's no view, it's in a residential area, and requires a transfer from a bus to tram from the airport to get to. That's my only gripe. I would gladly stay here again when in Riga because I know how easy it is to get to, I don't mind the transit and a bit of a walk. The minimarket nearby was helpful to have as well, with "american" snacks, regular food and drink available.

Great location but hairs in the bed and bathroom, the bedroom didnt seem very clean and the fire alarm went off at 05.00am, which was due to a fault in the kitchen. Great that it works but we didnt know whether to evacuate as the loud speaker was only in Latvian. I called reception to ask whether i should leave, another alarm then went off in English so that was much appreciated. Other than this the hotel was stylish and great for a day of exploring.

This is a nice clean hotel in a great location. You can walk to a lot places without the need for transportation. If you do need public transportation its a short walk. Hotel staff was very helpful and spoke english. Only down side is the parking if you have a rental car, there is no onsite parking and the offsite parking is across the street and 15.00 euro a day. I would stay here again.

I stay here several times each year, and would recommend the IBIS STYLES to anyone seeking high quality, friendly-accommodations, with outstanding, professional and guest-oriented staff. The 56N24E Restaurant is outstanding, and I would highly recommend a visit.

Very nice room - clean and comfortable. Nice bed and view through window. Breakfast included in price, variable opportunities for breakfast. Recommend to take 12floor restaurant, view even more greater to Riga center and ship port.

Good for one or two nights, not more. Rooms are average, with old carpeting, small, bathroom is tiny, air co very noisy, only on and off stand (only works if you window is closed).Room was very stuffy and first thing open the window and then try out ac which of course would not work ( because window was open, who knew, hotel staff maybe?). At night was awake because smoke detector right above my bed, it flashed like space ship landing ( never seen such a flashy smoke detector, I suppose your survive any fire in this hotel because you never will sleep). Reception staff was very business, no extra words and smile. Though only thing I recommend is the restaraurant at the to floor, beautiful vieuw and excellent food.
