Brilliant location and lovely clean hotel. Staff are absolutely brilliant and super friendly. Only given 4 stars as was disappointed as stated there is parking. There is a very limited car park and over the 4 days we stayed there we couldn’t get a space. Had to park in public car park across road with an extra £150 costs incurred. Disappointing she. We expected to be able to park. However it is a great hotel and would probably stay again if we come to York again.

The Hilton not in Paris but in York we originally arrived for a sit down before an evening adventure when we entered the room we all took mega bombs in the toilet and afterwards it was like Chernobyl in there RIP toilet as we rested Pepe and Claire and Bean and Keef explored the room and we had an enjoyable time in doing so Claire found kettle and was joyous and bean was being a turnip we later found out bean is sweary and likes to say bad words to Pepe which upset the whole family upon our entry secind time round we pressed a doorbell and someone opened door and that was cool the room had very odd lights and we couldn’t work them out pepe schlaft good but to beans distraught cause he lied and said he had no bed but he had all the bed the little smelly fool now we must talk about Keef’s sleep he was very very angry with the pillows and when we had all awoken he was going mental on them and threatened to drop kick them out of the window on to terrys tower which is haunted Keef and Pepe had a lovely shower but bean smelt really bad Claire was a bit tipsy as she had a glass of wine with her dinner which went straight to her head as she was dancing all night long it was a lovely stay and the biscuits were nice

The hotels location is its main asset whichh may reflect the price paid which I felt was a little high. The only complaint would be the noise from the street especially late night early morning

Friendly, welcoming check in and check out. Clean standard room. 1 still and sparking water provided and tea and coffee and biscuits. 15 minute walk from the station. Lighting not great in the room, no ceiling lights at all just lamps and sidelights. We checked in and out within 11 hours so a quick stay
