Great location, spotlessly clean. No change of towels second day, not enough toilet paper on hand snd no one on site. Parking is really tight, but overall a cute spot for a weekend getaway.

Good, quaint cottage with direct beach access. Right off of a busier main road but still has convenient parking for guests. Very close to Provincetown, which has much more to do than Truro in my opinion - if you’re just looking to relax by the beach there is no need to leave the property, but there is nothing easily walkable locally if you have kids or are traveling in groups. Ptown had a ton of public parking and was only a 10 minute drive, that was where we did most of our dinners and shopping after spending the day at the beach. While the property itself had minimal flaws and shortcomings, I have never dealt with staff and property management as rude and unaccommodating as they were here. Despite having contact information listed with multiple ways to reach them, you have to jump through hoops to get ahold of someone that will treat your concerns as insignificant and will dismiss you. Even Expedia agents were unable to reach anyone. This part of the experience was jarring. One of the higher ups at the Breakwater in PTown, a property linked to Truro Beach Cottages, had to apologize for the way our questions and concerns were addressed, and he unfortunately seemed unsurprised that we had been treated this way. While the vacation experience in itself was enjoyable, dealing with the argumentative and difficult staff left a bad taste in our mouths.

The cottage was clean, updated and well supplied. Staff were friendly. I booked a certain cottage and owner allowed prior guest to stay over their reservation. They offered us another option. It was a nice cottage but it was across the road and between 2 garages. Not with rest of the ocean side cottages. Can’t trust them so won’t revisit. They did credit our dog fees but still not okay. Owner needs to honor reservation. Also the cottage shook when trucks drove by.
