Nice quiet getaway

Location was perfect, far enough away from everything to enjoy peace and quiet, but close enough that we could shop, dine and play without having to drive far. House was spacious and had most of what we needed and the hot tub was splendid at night with the waves crashing in the background. Will definitely be back if available in the future.

The house is in major need of repair. The front door has a large gap at the bottom and rain will come in. The house smells of mildew and the floors are soft in spots. The showers were also in need of repair with cracks in the bottom.

50th Wedding Anniversary Renewal Celebration

We live everything about the house. The four bedrooms and 4 bathrooms were perfect for our family. The only thing that concerned me was the musty smell throughout the house.

Perfect location / place that needs updating

Checkin and checkout process was seamless. Location is amazing. Only a one minute walk to the beach with a great backyard and deck area. Place is large enough for group of people to stay and cook. Downsides are as follows: Cockroaches (we spotted a total of four during our five day stay), leak in roof right beside bed in one of guest rooms, shower in one bedroom did not work, lights going out randomly, and maintenance was not responsive to fix the issues. Management would take note of the issues, but nothing was ever fixed. Someone came to check the leak, but they looked at it and left.

Location great, patio area great, liked the layout of inside house. No ocean view. The house is very old and bad musty smell. Needs to have a good cleaning. The walls were nasty and the floor had not been cleaned in a long time. I was very disappointed. We will not stay there again.

Before we arrived we were told that the hot tub wasn’t working but someone would be coming to fix it. Once someone did come to “fix it” they reset the system and said it was good to go and it still didn’t work

I recently stayed at this unit and wanted to share an honest review of my experience.Pros:The location was excellent, as it was very close to the beach, which made our daily activities convenient and enjoyable. Additionally, I truly appreciated that the property allowed me to bring my dog, as this made our trip much easier and more comfortable.Cons:Unfortunately, there were several issues with the unit that negatively impacted our stay. Upon arrival, the sheets in one of the bedrooms had sand in them, and it was evident that the floors had not been swept beforehand. The couches were extremely old and uncomfortable; one had a tear approximately six inches long.In one of the bedrooms, there were nails sticking out around the plumbing wall, posing a potential safety hazard. Additionally, the front door had a large crack that could have easily allowed rodents to enter the unit.In one of the bathrooms, the shower faucet was broken and could swing completely around, making it difficult to use. One of the beds also had a large crack in the frame, which affected its stability and comfort.Another significant issue was the hot tub. It was advertised as a working amenity, but upon arrival, it was not even filled. We were told that it had been repaired and that we could fill it ourselves. Another concern I had was regarding the booking process. I rented the unit through VRBO, and shortly before our trip, I was contacted by Rent In Myrtle LLC requesting my driver’s license.
