A Month at Sailor's Rest

Our entire stay was excellent. Our hosts couldn't have been nicer and more welcoming. The location was ideal for outdoor activities like hiking, golf and pickleball. There were a couple restaurants in the vicinity as well as a pub overlooking the bay. To top our stay off the weather was ideal. Will have fond memories for years to come!!

Relax!!!

The cottage was everything we hoped it would be. Very safe location. Super clean, very cozy and comfortable. Everything we needed was there. Great central location for so many things. The pub down by the water had a beautiful view and delicious food. We loved everything about our stay at Sailors Rest and we will definitely be back. Host was very good at communication and we had zero issues about anything!!!!10/10!!!!!!

We were in the area for some exploring and a regatta. Honestly, the space was awesome, all the amenities were there. Mich, we loved all of the Naval memorabilia. The beds were super comfy. The location was spot on. thanks so much. we hope to stay there again.

Would have liked to enjoy the beautiful outdoor area

The accomodation was very clean and had everything you would need. The hot tub was full of leaf litter and so was the trampoline but the kids were expected to take off their shoes. After coming back in after 2 mins with slivers they didnt use it again. The owners also had dogs running around barking at us which was obviously a big deterrent for using the fire pit or play area. Both of my kids were quite disappointed. If you don't plan on using those amenities the rest of the place was great.

Amazing cottage

Lovely cottage, very comfortable, has everything anyone needs, cozy. Good location, close to the main town. Central if anyone wants to go to Victoria or Nanaimo. Good communication with owner. Fabulous place, highly recommended.

Amazing cute place! From the outside it looks small, however it's so spacious inside with the two bedrooms, we loved the space in the bathrooms too, very clean, and the Hot tub was a plus! Will absolutely be coming back. Thank you for your hospitality Mich.

Wonderful little cabin

We were in the area for a wedding so location was exceptional for our purposes. During the time we did stay on the property we had access to a beautiful yard, play centre and trampoline for the baby. Hot tub was a great way to wind down at the end of the day. Cabin was well stocked with cooking materials. Hosts were friendly and welcoming.

Location location location and a hot tub

We had a wonderful 30 day stay at The Sailors Rest. Well equipped home away from home. Paloma the dog loved the walk through the forest to the close by off leash park where she made lots of friends. The hot tub was well maintained and was a lovely end to the days after exploring Duncan and the Cowichan area.
