Beautiful Townhome, Great Views, and Pleasant Stay.
Beautiful townhome with expansive views of NYC from across the Hudson in NJ. (Our preferred location when visiting NYC.) The accommodations were terrific!
We prefer cooking our meals, so the 4th-floor kitchen and 5th-floor roof deck BBQ with living/entertainment space on both floors was great! Between Edgewater and Weehawken/Hoboken, the location is close to Whole Foods and Trader Joe's, so plenty of provisions are available to stock up the fridge within 5 minutes of the front door.
The rooms were nicely appointed, and the bathrooms were modern, clean, and spacious. Each bedroom had bathrooms in-suite. The 2 additional bathrooms on the entertainment levels (1st and 4th floors) were also modern and clean.
In town to see our son (a classical musician) perform at Carnegie Hall, the location is 10-35 minutes to NYC through the Lincoln Tunnel depending on the time of day. (Faster times if catching the NJ Transit from Weehawken or with NY Watertaxi at Port Imperial.)
This is the spot for those who prefer upscale accommodations, convenient shopping, a park with a lake up the hill, and to engage in NYC when desired or necessary without having to stay "in it"! Remember, you can always enjoy the cityscape from one of the floor-to-ceiling views from this great location.
