We enjoyed our stay at the North Bend property. The hosts were very responsive, responding to us within minutes. The small house was just off the street and was very quiet. Our granddaughter who visited us in the purple house was able to walk with us to the city park. It was a great stay

Not a great layout. Cramped: bed is wedged in a corner. Not any reasonable seating. Just an awkward design, nothing special about this place

Overall a very comfortable place to stay for a great price. Nice and quiet. Full size washer/dryer was very convenient. Nice TV and wifi. We had to get trash bags for the kitchen trash can. We also picked up a couple of extra wash cloths for the bath room. Could have used extra towels. Watching the bunny rabbits in the yard was a nice treat.

Mountain Haven

The rental was clean and a perfect size for me and would be plenty big enough for two. Communication with the host was great. I liked the location very much, it was close to town and close to trailheads for getting out and hiking. My only complaint would be the toilet situation as used toilet paper cannot be put in for flushing. Everything else was very good. I would recommend to others.

Nice unit but concerns with bathroom

The unit has several pluses - it is clean, has a convenient location and has comfortable beds. The unit is small but cozy. The kitchen/living area is very nice and well appointed. Kitchen dishes, glassware and utensils are excellent. The rental is approx 1 mile from the North Bend shopping district and restaurants. It is a flat walk of about 15 minutes. There is no air conditioner but we were comfortable even with sunny days with temps in the upper 80s. The unit is located at the foot of Mt. Si and cooled down nicely at night. The bed is very comfortable and we got a good night's sleep. We did not use the washer and dryer but they are large and look as if they would handle any laundry needs. The one negative that we had was the bathroom. The unit is on a septic system and there is a notice that toilet paper cannot be flushed in the toilet. Instead, dirty TP needs to be collected and put out with the trash. Even though we adapted to this unusual restriction, it made for an unpleasant trip to the loo. The other issue is that the shower is very small and water pressure is weak. The hot water supply was inconsistent so taking a shower was always a bit of an adventure. I noted our concerns with the bathroom to the owner and Ying was appreciative of them. The bathroom has an "at camp" feeling which is at odds with the modern feel in the living quarters. If you are up for "roughing it" this could be a good choice.
