The location was great! An easy walk to the beach. A short drive or walk to the activities we wanted to do. The layout worked great for us as a group of 3 couples and one pre-teen. Overall the house is ready for a refresh, walls, baseboards and furniture all showing the wear and tear of people coming and going. While the bathrooms and kitchen were clean, the house is overdue for a deep cleaning of baseboards, etc. Being a pet friendly home, some deep cleaning is needed. Within hours of our arrival we reported that the refrigerator was leaking. We received prompt replies to our messages and gave permission for a repair man to enter the property if we were not there. The repair man never came, we spent the week cleaning up water around the refrigerator. Also found the washer would not spin out clothes, after washing a load of beach towels. Several other little things noted, cracks in one of the master bathroom sinks, which also was very slow to drain. Excessive amounts of grout missing in the master shower. A kitchen faucet that was stuck between the normal flow and sprayer flow. Overall, the home feels like it needs a good inspection to address some deferred maintenance. We would definitely stay in this area again, but wouldn't rent this property again.
