Well it’s been a long time since I stayed in a Holiday following a few bad experiences. Very impressed with this hotel , the welcome from Taylor was warm friendly and very informative about the hotel and its facilities and the local area. Offer of help to get to my room with my bags , wow that doesn’t normally happen. And then there was Rosie , what a caring sole zig a lady , just wanted to make certain I was happy with my drinks choice and seating My room was 334 on the 7th Feb and once again very nice room , clean tidy and large , with a fantastic new shower Great hotel well done IHG
Right by the airport so I guess convenient for that. Rooms dull and smell a bit stale. No nice touches. Staff nice though. Pool tiny and overchlorinated and bath tub warm. My food was nice but my colleagues dinner was cremated.
Returned to the hotel after a 2 year break for an event. The renovations are great (lifts still need work) but rooms, public spaces are fabulous. I had an exec room with jacuzzi and you could pop a family of 4 in there and still have room for a tiger! Food was excellent, loved the gin selection in the bar and staff all pleasant.
Popped into the hotel before kate flew off the Germany The new reception lounge bright and welcoming The bar was busy with a group meeting so plenty of life and noise The drinks were a little pricey but then we are in Norwich and by the airport Kate said her room was as expected Overall very convenient for the airport
Lions International are holding their Convention here in March and we had a chance to meet the team and we were shown around the restaurant which has been superbly refurbished. The Ambassador Suite was amazing too. The Halifax suite was set up in readiness for the impending Bridal event and the table and room decorations were stunning. We were invited to partake in a lovely afternoon tea, which was delicious. Thank you to Mel and your staff for a great afternoon.
Arrived after a very long day to be checked in by the lovely & friendly Steph. Very chatty and welcoming. I used the gym & pool areas and both were very nice but a little tired in areas. I had a very nice dinner in the restaurant, well cooked and hot food. I slept reasonably well, only thing that kept me awake were people going in & out of their rooms until midnight as they are fire doors that slam shut but I suppose this can't be helped. Overall a nice stay and I will stay again.
My Jan 18 Holiday Inn extravaganza started with Norwich North. Staying unexpectedly due to a bereavement I found the service and warmth of welcome excellent. The bar/reception/restaurant area has been remodelled in the last year or so and looks fresh welcoming and clean. Food was good in the evening and this place does the best Holiday Inn breakfast I've come across. All in all very good
The room was very tatty. The fan extractor in the bathroom did not work and there was no hot water. We mentioned to reception who casually informed us the boiler was broken but had no idea when it would be fixed. We were not able to shower! Would not recommend.
This is a great hotel! The rooms were absolutely beautiful and very clean, the food was beautiful and the staff were amazing!! The receptionist, Karen, was extremely helpful and she made our stay very comfortable!
I was panicking as it was late and I'd been turned away from hotels but when I went into reception Steff and Nicki were great . Got me booked in and as I was a member of points system they upgraded me . Everything I needed was provided . Room was very big and very clean . Commentary bottled water was good . Breakfast in the morning was off decent quality and staff were providing a very good service . Checkout was great . Can't remember girls name but my questions were answered no problem . £5 charge for overnight stay tho. Very good service which made this holiday inn top class
