The receptionist was brilliant and the hotel was very pleasant and clean. Easy booking in and easy booking out (we had 8 days parking whilst we were away). This part of the procedure was FAULTLESS. However the breakfast was very poor - basic cereal, no muesli. Our timing must have been out as the breakfast when we took it (08:15) was very poor the bacon was very hard and dry and likewise the eggs, in fact everything had been sitting there for some time and just dried up. One of the worst breakfasts we have had. The hotel is also very noisy at night you can hear people walking in the corridors and talking - the person next door to us woke us up with their snoring and we found it hard to get back to sleep as it seemed to echo through our room. We were asked to do an online survey where I expressed my comments, at the end I was asked if I would mind if the management could contact me to discuss the matter – I have heard NOTHING which proves no-one actually reads the feedback left in surveys.

Went to an awards evening, must say the venue was lovely, staff very friendly and helpful, but the food was dreadful, soup was like pond water, the main course, which had come out of the microwave, frozen undercooked vegetables, dessert was half decent, for the money we paid, I was expecting so much more, will avoid any Christmas parties held here, basically due to the poor food which lets the place down.

Stayed at the hotel for 3 nights as we were on a coach trip o Norfolk. Beautiful hotel with very pleasant staff. The hotel was spotless and the food(breakfast and 3 course dinner) was fantastic. The drinks at the bar were expensive.

Got a great price for this hotel. Ideal for a short break and ideal location for Norwich. The parking is chargeable but this wasn't very clear on some websites. But it's reduced for hotel guests. Very helpful and welcoming staff. Quick and efficient check in and check out. Very tasty breakfast and such a great choice of hot and cold food items too. 🙂. The room was immaculately clean, modern decor and its great having air conditioning. Sadly we didn't get time to use the pool or gym facilities. Overall an enjoyable stay and I would recommend.

My normal hotel in Norwich. The refurbishments have made a difference. Upgraded to a suite on check in as I am a Spire Elite member. Always appreciated. Room spotless. Reception staff (who seemed to always be there, afternoon, night and next morning!) friendly and efficient. Thanks to the evening supervisor who provided us with a night drink as the bar closed dead on 23.00! Breakfast good next morning, with another team of friendly waiting staff. Cannot understand the negative comments, however I do agree with the comments about cost of car parking. This is new and just a money making exercise. If a guest is spending approx. £100 the parking should be free of any cost. Fully appreciate introducing a cost for people using the airport and leaving their cars for long term parking, but not paying customers

Stayed on this hotel as we were catching an early flight. When we arrived the room wasn't ready. This wasn't an issue as was going to have a drink in the bar. Told the receptionist this and settled ourself for a drink. My husband went to the bar where two mbets of staff were attending. Not one word was spoken my husband ordered a glass of red wine for me and he had to settle for a pint of Guinness as they had run out of two of the bitters. After about 35 minutes I heard excuse me. Excuse me shouted across the reception and bar area to notify me that the room was ready. I thanked the young girl and said I would book in shortly. My husband got up to retrieve a menu to see what was on offer when he heard Can I help you mate? For a start my husband was not his mate he was a fully paid up customer. The bar staff obviously deciding to speak then. We tried to ignore this unprofessional way of approaching customers. My husband said let's go somewhere else but as there was a wedding party coming in I wanted to see the bride so said let's have another drink first. So back he went to the bar to be told the hotel didn't have any more red wine! Needless to day we went to reception and booked in took our luggage to our room and went elsewhere for food and drink. On going back to the room later in the evening I realised that the bathroom hadn't been serviced to standard I expect by finding the previous occupants feaces in the lavatory. Now you might day why didn't I do something about it there and then. Well to be truthful with the unprofessional way the place was run I couldn't be bothered. We have always used Premier Inn in the past and will do in the future. A complete waste of 90 pounds. Never again.

We have stayed here before, and whilst not perfect, were sufficiently impressed to return despite many other options in Norwich. On arrival this time things didn't start well - the parking in the hotels (half empty, plenty of spaces) car park is now chargeable at £5 (no mention on booking website). Our room was also not ready - we had a wait of almost 90 minutes after the advertised time - although a free drink went some way to calm us down! The real dismay was the state of the room - there were hairs all over the bathroom floor, a used tissue behind the door and a dubious brown splatter patter on the skirting boards (see photos). Things were soon cleaned (and a bottle of wine left) - but you do worry about the cleaning issues you didn't notice! The next day for example one of the freshly changed towels had a very dubious stain on it (photo). The staff themselves were friendly and helpful, and the pool was a nice bonus (although again, far from clean with many lifeforms growing on the ceiling). Overall - a convenient location, but next time I think we will make more effort to find somewhere new and better.

Booked to stay here following a wedding. Consequently we arrived late. I was a bit shocked by the parking prices on the way in!(but parking was actually validated by front desk in the morning so was free). We arrived after 11. Front desk staff was very helpful and accommodating. Room was very spacious and clean. I was especially impressed with the large shower- also, the shower taps were the opposite end to the shower head which means you avoid the cold shock when it first comes on. Not a very big factor, but I found it novel. Breakfast was until 11 in the morning, im not an early riser so i liked the later breakfast. It wasnt the nicest buffet breakfast, but definatly sufficient. The staff at breakfast were also lovely and friendly.

Check in was excellent. Had cider from the bar the gent on thire was fab. Saturday we had a small fault fix in no time at all very nice hotel would recommend and will come back soon Food was good breakfasts was excellent and the staff are all ways willing to help

Stayed for night night. We had 2 rooms our room was lovely looked recently re decorated. Plenty of room for us. Rooms very clean. And beds far to comfy (struggled to get up)The pool was a great hit with the kids although small did the job and was lovely and warm. Breakfast was good lots to chose from from full cooked to fresh fruit. We didn't eat our evening meal in the restaurant as we personally thought it was over priced. We ate round the corner. Staff all seemed friendly enough. Would stay again if in the area.
