Cycling and walking along rivers, castles, country houses, nature reserves, and cozy villages. Besides Nieuwleusen, Dalfsen, Hattem, Staphorst, Giethoorn, Meppel, and Ommen are definitely worth a visit. Or visit the beautiful Hanseatic cities of Zwolle, Kampen, and Deventer.
