The walk to the airport is 20 minutes according to Apple etc. you could take a short cut across busy road via the Novotel which would be shorter. Tram stop is nearby if you can figure out how to get a ticket. I couldn’t find a nearby beach

STAY AWAY! The whole property was filthy , it looked like they haven’t vacuumed the hallways for weeks, in our room the shower was dirty as well as the floors in the room. I don’t know how they can get away with stuff like this. I complained to front desk and did nothing. Terrible stay.

WRong choice

Given the great demand for hotels in nice, i chose a hotel near the nice airport. Bad idea. Everywhere you go, the hotel was dirty. The room, the same. Stained pillows. Smelly sheets. They sent me to a clean room. But we could barely walk. Extremely narrow. The next day they did not clean the room. A complete disaster. A mediocre breakfast with almost no options.

This is basically a hostel. One pillow. One towel. Very stark. Concrete floor. Couldn’t get any coffee or anything there. Eating area was mobbed with travelers and suitcases. Could not get out of there fast enough. Also, taxi driver would not take us to it from the airport. Took the tram. Had to schlep bags a little ways. Area seemed a bit seedy.
