Traumatizing first time having a bad experience baby bed bugs running towards me on the pillow . I know a bed bug when I see one .

Breakfast is pretty good but facilities really need to be maintained and be improved

The staff are considerate to a degree. It is in a great location making touring Ontario a joy. The big problem is the hotel; very filthy rooms as if there has been no cleaning in a decade. The bedding isn't clean, rooms are not vacuumed nor cleaned. A brown sticky substance is pronounced throughout the room. At a price of $396.63 the I was charged by ORBTIZ for this room is unbelievable. We went in a group of 15 people. One couple could not book at the Niagara Lodge & Suites stood at the Ramada fro less money and had much better accommodations. I am surprised that ORBITZ would book such a place.

Some of the hotel staff are not friendly! The rooms with carpet are smelling while those with hardwood floors are not too bad. The hotel is Ok for the price, and the free breakfast is satisfying.

Room was gross and we had bug bits in the morning

Hotel was shabby. Breakfast food poor quality. Large Rat traps visible at front entrance where garbage containers kept.

This Hotel start on the front desk so rude attention. When I paid the reservation online , coudn't mention 4 persons n the room will be and they charge me $20 more and ask for check in one hour before the rule and charge me $10 more . on the room no towels , dirty , microwave not working , coffee machine same , toil paper bad, bathroom seiling dirty need replace, wifi in not connect anymore , telephone room not working .

First off I'm not one to listen to somebody elses reviews bc everyone experience is different. Of course staying at a hotel that is cheaper and not five starts you are not going to walk into a beautiful updated hotel. And I know that, but walking into my hotel room this week I Was grossed out not to mention so was my 9 yr old. there is a difference between a cheap hotel and a clean hotel. My room was cheap but not cleaned . Spider webs in every corner of the room. toothpaste marks on sink knobs a dead bug smeared in shower. Overall disgusting. the carpet was dirty my daughter didn't want to take her shoes off. The pools were heated but the Jacuzzi was broken with just a tiny bit of water in it hair floating in it . The hotel workers should of cleaned it,major eyesore the breakfast room was eggs, sausage, homefries bagels ect. The room was also dirty bc guest always didn't clean up after themselves, told my husband maybe going early was better it wasn't,thank god only stayed one night my husband didn't even want that but I said where else would we go last minute, the bed was clean and newer to just get some sleep, only stayed one night.

Horrible breakfast and front desk not welcoming .

When we first arrived staff was abrupt with us, not very friendly. When we went into our room, immediately it had an old, musty smell, the paint was cracked/patched in many places. The bed linens and curtains looked about 20 years old. The mattress was disgusting. There was an ant problem in the room. Avoid this place!

For $25 dollars a night you just have to clean your own room ( spray cleaner)& bring your own sheets wear socks. We saved money and the city bus pick up in front

Terrible, dirty room. Very old motel, not renovated. rooms mustiness. Not recommendet this motel.

it was a hot breakfast and for the price the hotel was all right, if your used to a 3-4 star this is not the hotel for you. The pool was a little cold.

Rom is a little out of date and needs some updating but it is clean and convenient with parking. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Inside pool for those winter time craving.

I would be ashamed to be reselling this hotel. My dog has stayed in better accommodations. Though it was cheap, it still was too much compared to the accomodations.. If I could rate a negative value I would.

I decided, spontaneously, to turn our day trip to Niagara Falls to an overnight trip and because it was spontaneous, I didn't have a lot to spend on a hotel room. I'm not high - maintenance. I usually stay in 2 star hotels/motels with no problem. This was exceptionally different! We checked in with no issue, but upon walking into our room, I thought it smelled heavily of urine (my daughter did not, so I brushed it off), there were holes in the walls and the wall lamp was sitting on a night stand. These were all alarming, but we had a full day planned and we were running very much behind, so we left out immediately. When we returned, we were all exhausted and ready for bed...but 1st, bathroom...when I got in the bathroom, I could see that it hadn't been cleaned at all (or very poorly cleaned). The tub especially was filthy and I could have overlooked the broken lamp and holes in the wall for 1 night, but I couldn't overlook the filthy bathroom! Best thing that happened when I called the front desk, they did not hesitate to give us a new room. The new room was freshly cleaned and overall in much better condition. Despite that it was in much better condition, there were a few things I took note of in the morning. First the toilet pressure (in both rooms) was terrible. I am all for conserving water, but I killed a spider, picked it up in a couple squares of toilet paper and tried to flush it. I had to flush twice! The water temperature goes from freezing cold to literally burning! If you turn on almost any hot water, it will be too hot to stand. Literally! In the sink as well...washing my hands even, was so difficult because the water temperature was either too cold or too hot! While my daughter was showering, she tried to adjust the temperature and fell! Thank God she wasn't hurt! There were also stray hairs on the bathroom floor that did not belong to us...this is small, but when you have a child that is petrified of hair, it's huge. I also feel like hair is one of those things that should be thoroughly removed during cleaning since things like lice live on them. Had I known these things beforehand, I would have planned to stay somewhere else, possibly on a different weekend.

First of all, the room they gave me the tv was not working, the refrigerator not working and on top of the phone not working, so I had to go down to explain that nothing worked in the room. Then, they gave me another room, but the room was FILTHY!!!, the bathroom ceiling peeling paint and dirty floor, I rate it with one star because I can't rate it with zero star, definitely I will NEVER RECOMMEND this hotel!!!!.

Basic motel- needed an inexpensive stay. Will stay again

The room was a good size. Hotel has an indoor pool that was suppose to be heated but was not the day we went swimming. Did have a decent breakfast of eggs, home fries, sausages, waffles, bagels, toast, cereal, juice and coffee. Cable TV package could have been better. Over all a positive experience, will stay here again, can't beat the price.

First off let me say I am a easy going country girl that doesn't get put off and turned off by very much, but this hotel experience did it for me! After reading reviews I still took the chance and booked, but before I did I called the hotel to ensure I received one of the newly renovated rooms with wood floor. Female staff said it would not be a problem. On arrival Hotel lobby was decent. Staff was quiet but friendly. When I went into the room I stepped in to the smell of musk and old. I attempted to use the phone, but it didn't work. I returned to the desk and explained that I had called in advance and booked a renovated room with wood floors. They then took me to a room that was completely covered in mud, run down, absolutely filthy, bedding was dirty and there was the leftovers of a joint on the floor! I refused the room and was very disgusted that they put anyone in that room let alone 3 young children ! It was absolutely horrible! After the staff figuring thinks out at front desk they took me into a room in the hotel on the third floor. It was dated which is no big deal, decent size, great water pressure in shower, mattresses were old and stained, bedding appeared clean, dusty, livable for the weekend! We were out all day expecting to come into a room that housekeepers had freshened up during the day, but no nothing was done in the room. I called down after 5pm and said housekeeping was not there during the day and I needed the garbage taken(diapers) and vacuuming done. It was explained to me that they were very busy and there was no housekeepers! Breakfast was nothing special . Eggs from the microwave which had a very awful consistency, hard hash browns, sausage, waffles were good, cereal, toast/bagels, juice you can't go wrong. I don't know how public health or fire department has not shut the breakfast area down as it is very much a hazard. Appliances are all plugged into one outlet that already showed fire damaged and around outlet there was large holes where the drywall should have been. I would definitely question the food handling as well! Wifi was very poor. Yes, stay is cheap, location is good, but I would definitely spend the extra couple of buck and stay somewhere that is going to be clean and not having to worry about critters all night while you are trying to sleep.
