The service is very nice and friendly and will help you with any questions you need about the resort and their water park and amusement park. The resort has a beautiful ocean view and the room is very nice. The food is very delicious, plentiful and has different cuisines to try from. There is a kids club where you can leave your child with the resort services for free, although they charge you for leaving children under 3 in their care. The beach is very clean, unlike any other resort I've been to. Safety is very important to the resort, and there will be lifeguards standing by, ready for any emergency. There is easy transportation at the resort. Every dollar was worth it to see a stunning island view, very friendly services, delicious food, and so much more.
Had a great time staying at the Vinpearl Resort. Everything from the service, to the food, to the attractions were top notch. I can't say much about the price and if it's worth the cost being that this was a funded company trip. I will say though that it was worth every free dollar I spent.
A very large 5 star resort with great facilities on the island. There is a water park and amusement park (vin pearl land that is free for resort guests and easily accessible from the resort. There are frequent golf buggies that provide transportation around the island. This would be a great holiday for families as the kids could go to the parks as many times as they like in complete safety. There is an enormous swimming pool at the main hotel (30m x 60m) and a couple of other pools to service the villas. The main restaurant serves buffet type meals that cater to many tastes and cuisines. Food is plentiful and good quality. If there is a criticism it would be that the resort does not actively provide information on what to do outside of the resort - I guess that is somewhat understandable as they obviously would prefer guests stay on site but it doesn't support the surrounding region.
We went there in May 17, stayed in a Grand delux ocean view room for 3 nights. The ocean view is very nice. No matter where u stay in the resort, it'll always be a short walk to the private beach and the resort's massive pool. Room was in perfect state when we checked in, clean and absolutely at 5-star standard! (Interior design of their rooms starting to get dated but it still looks pretty good for now). Unlike other hotels in Vietnam, staff here will always greet you with a big friendly smile. They were always helpful, polite and there were always enough staff around to help you even late at night. Food: our package allowed us to have all of our meals breakfast, lunch and dinner for the 3 days that we were there at Lotus restaurant. Their meals were in buffet style. Food was amazing. They had a few different stations to serve different cuisines. We were very impressed at their Vietnamese traditional noodle soups. They were so good that we didn't have to go anywhere else to eat! And being a Vietnamese myself, I can confidently say that their food is as good as it could possibly get. We didn't need to go back to the main land that much cos all we needed was on the island: beach, pool etc. You will have a great time here!
My wife and I had a great time here and how couldn't we with all the facilities, friendliness of staff who could not do enough to help. I would stay at the resort and away from the mainland as you get pounced on and followed
The hotel has obviously undergone some reservations since the photographs I saw when researching on the net - so much so that I wondered if we were checked into the correct resort. Check-in was fantastic with no problems at all. The 7 minute transfer by boat from the main land is very easy and a lot of fun. The beach and pool areas are exceptional. The rooms are average and no great shakes. I found the food and beverage to be excessively expensive and since there are no other options I think they are ripping off their captive market - try and take what ever you can snack wise with you. We had a very good day at the waterpark where the food and beverage is more reasonably priced. All in all a good stay, but not convinced i would race back.
Could not be more disappointed in this hotel. After traveling through Hanoi, Halong Bay and Hoi An and receiving amazing service from beautiful people, my fiancé and I had high expectations. When trying to organise a pickup the hotel told us we were unable to do so and sent us an address to tell the taxi driver when we arrived. The address given was wrong so at 4:30am we spent two hours trying to locate the reception. When we finally found it they said we were in the wrong place and sent us away, half an hour later the taxi driver takes us back to the same building and it was in fact where we needed to be. The check in process took ridiculously long time especially since we were the only people in reception. They could not find our booking and were unable speak speak English to communicate with us. Finally someone found our booking and then proceeded to tell us all the inclusions that were in our booking are no longer included because they changed hotel policy. This took another hour in reception to try and sort out but nothing was done about it. When we arrived from the speed boats to the island we went to check in but the room wasn't ready, which we expected because we were early. When we asked the hotel reception if there was anything to do while we waited he shrugged his shoulders and just said no. We asked if we could have breakfast and he said it would be $50 each for the buffet and that there were no other places to eat in the hotel. We ended up ordering from the bar snack menu and paid a large amount for very poor food, it was more store bought than restaurant quality. When we were able to check into our room we got settled and have to admit the views are incredible and the room comfortable. On reading through the room guide we found a page advising us that the inclusion that we thought we would be getting (cable car and theme park) were in fact included in our rom with no extra charge. Thinking they had just made a mistake at the mainland reception we went downstairs to enquire. Even with it clearly stated in the book they said that they would not honour it because some policy had changed and it was no longer valid. We spend half that day talking to managers trying to get the rest of our booking cancelled so we can stay somewhere else. They would not allow it and in the end agreed to let us use the cable car once. The management were very lovely and tried there best to make our stay enjoyable but unfortunately it was too little too late. I would definitely not recommend this hotel, not only is the service horrible but the distance away from everything makes getting around costly and a real issue.
Have just got back form Vinpearl Resort, the food was great our accommodation was excellent and we found the staff friendly and helpful. Two things that did disappoint me were the rudeness of some of the people holiday in there, some had no manners at all so congratulations to the staff for putting up with them with a smile, One thing surprised me, I asked how do we get from the Hotel to have a look at the golf course, I was told there was a charge to go and have a look. Although it was only a small charge my brother and I didn't go. This probably cost them a lot more than the price of the tutus drive there as we were looking to purchase some golf equipment, might be something to have a look at in the future. Would love to come back we did have a fantastic time.
I dont understand how anyone can give this place any bad review. The staff greets you everywhere you go, it is spotless even in public washrooms. We love the exclusive island and the golf course, getting around and in to town center is never a problem, their tuttuts and speed boats are amazingly prompt. I have traveled around Asia and stayed in a variety of 4.5 to 5 stars, trust me , this one is one of the top on my list. Of course you have to understand what to expect when you book a resort located on an exclusive island and a mini "disney like" amusement park. Viet people are in general very honest and extremely hospitable, I love the classy amenity and everything that comes with it, but I understand it doesn't come cheap, be realistic and enjoy if you can afford it.
Wonderful World, go to enjoy island and view ocean from it. Anything is excited. The Staffs are very polite and nice, restaurant is full of food to choose. Having many services for us to choose. We have much more experiences in that land. Not only Vietnam but also foreigners that can making travelling services of country is better
