The Kiln - Cosy 2 storey cottage in the original kiln of the corn mill.

This is the fourth of our cottages to be completed. This cosy 2 storey cottage sleeps five in the original kiln of the corn mill. This part of the building is over 250 years old and retains much of its historical character. In the restoration we have tried to embrace the old architecture where we could giving the Kiln some quirky features, like the little kitchen window. The Kiln sleeps 5 in 2 bedrooms, a double and a triple.
There is a kitchen/living area with access out to the garden and play area. The shower room is upstairs and there is a small WC downstairs off the living area.
The Kiln is a quirky building with a beautiful original stone exterior and a warm and comfortable interior which would accommodate both a family or couple!

The 4 star Green Holiday Cottages provide luxury self catering accommodation situated in the Kingdom of Mourne. At the cottages you have the opportunity to enjoy the tranquil surroundings in a secluded riverside setting. Guests have access to a number of walking trails in nearby fields.

There is a large secure garden with ample area for children to play and includes an outdoor play area. The Green Holiday Cottages have outdoor kitchens with BBQ and Pizza ovens which can be enjoyed all year round. Surrounded by trees and beside the Kilkeel river the Green Holiday Cottages offer peace and tranquillity for the perfect break with birdsong providing a relaxing soundtrack to your stay.

The Green Holiday Cottages are a great base for exploring the Mourne area. Local forests offer much in the way of walking and cycling with world renowned trails in Kilbroney and Castlewellan. Golfing enthusiasts are drawn by The Royal Co Down and can enjoy the challenge of several local courses during their stay.

The fantastic Mourne Mountains provide both stunning scenery and a walker’s paradise. Film enthusiasts are close to the film locations of HBO’s award winning Game of Thrones series.
