I made my reservation in advance and clearly requested a room with a king bed. Upon check-in, I was given a room with two double beds instead. When I returned to the front desk to address the issue, I was told that there were no longer any king rooms available and that this was the reason I was placed on the premium floor. I need to emphasize that this was not what I reserved or requested — I did not want to be moved to the premium floor; I specifically wanted the room with a king bed that I booked. This situation was very disappointing, as my reservation request was not honored.
Additionally, my digital key showed a different room number than the one I was actually assigned at check-in. After spending several hours outside the hotel, we returned to the front desk for a third time, and it was then that we discovered our assigned room had been given to someone else, with our belongings still inside. We were escorted to retrieve our things from that room. We also had to return a fourth time to remove our credit card for accidental charges from the wrong room. It was a complete headache to deal with.
