Close proximity to the beach great overall trip

Fun property. Close to the beach. We are a family of 6 and we had plenty of room. Parking works great. We parked a full size suv in the garage.

Deeply disappointing stay/terrible customer service

What was meant to be a meaningful, celebratory weekend for our family turned into a series of frustrations that left us feeling ignored, disrespected, and thoroughly disheartened. I wouldn’t recommend this property to anyone, especially not when there are far better-run hotels and Airbnbs in the area that care about their guests’ experience.1. Inflexible and Unaccommodating Staff:We had requested an early check-in, as our daughters were flying in from opposite coasts for a rare and precious family reunion to celebrate both my husband’s and my daughter’s boyfriends’ birthdays. Given that we were also required to check out four hours earlier than usual, we hoped for even the smallest gesture of flexibility. Instead, we were met with robotic, unsympathetic rigidity. No effort was made to work with us or even acknowledge the nature of our request. It felt cold, impersonal, and frankly out of touch with the spirit of hospitality.2. Misleading Listing – No Central Air Conditioning:The listing does not mention that the home lacks central air conditioning. In a region known for warm weather, this is a basic amenity guests reasonably expect, especially when the price point suggests a level of comfort and convenience that simply wasn’t delivered.3. Power Outage – Zero Support or Contingency Plan: This was by far the most disappointing vacation rental experience we’ve encountered—and we travel often.

Great spring break with family

The place it can accommodate 6-8 people with plenty of space. The girls enjoyed that the beach is two blocks away, inside the garage they provided toys, kites, chairs , umbrella and bicycles. Although the water and weather is a bit chilly, we were able to enjoy the walk and the sunset. The place has a garage , locks were challenging at first, then it was easy. No AC but it can get cold at night. Overall, the stay was great.

Short distance to ocean!

This had great location. Amenities in the house were limited (ie pans, cups/glasses, conditioner). Was disappointed with having to pay for laundry which was in the garage. Also, the garage was very tight especially when sharing with other unit.

Beach Condo

Overall the condo was a good place to lay your head and is very close to the beach which was nice. However, the cleanliness of the place was something left to be desired. Check-in was good except one thing, it wasn't stated which condo was which. The units are one on top of the other and the condos themselves are not numbered. There was an issue with the dishwasher, however when I contacted the company, they were very helpful and very responsive. Overall, it was a good place.

Great week with family!

Beautiful location, close to the sand. Be prepared. When we booked it listed with air conditioning but upon arrival AC was not working and when texted for help we were told the unit does NOT have AC. Great home away from home though!

Property was disappointing

This property needs a good cleaning and needs some maintenance. It's a nice location and we enjoyed the area but the property was only superficially clean and there are a number of maintenance items that need attention, such as towel hooks that are coming off the doors to light assemblies that are coming apart to refrigerator water filter that needs to be replaced. We also had to unplug the dishwasher and disposal drain as they were plugged up and not draining when we arrived at the property. The house was also very hot and it was hard to get it to cool off even with all windows and doors open and every available fan running.

Great beach location!

The home was conveniently located and just a few short steps to the sand. Everything was clean and there were plenty of beach toys, a washer/dryer on site and lots of towels for personal and beach use! I would stay again-

Clean, great location

We had a great time at this place. I gave it four stars because amenities like trash bags, dish soap, and toilet paper were rationed very tightly. I also had my own personal laundry detergent stolen from the garage laundry cabinet. The garage is spacious but they need to draw a line divider because I could not park in there more than once when the other tenant parked in the middle of the two car garage. All that said, we had a wonderful time and the location was great. Right off the beach. We even had the hot water heater fail the first day and vacasa, support was very helpful and prompt in replacing it on day 2.

Really Nice, just know that you have to pay for laundry and there is no can opener

just what I said: The property is really accommodating, it's in a beautiful neighborhood that is one block away from a lovely stretch of beach. The pier is amazing, I loved running and walking down there, only a mile away. You should be aware that you have to pay 2.00 for a load of laundry and there is no can opener.

No air conditioning

The location is fantastic. The place is nice. But it was hot ( 90 degrees) and it was miserable inside. They had plenty of Fans but the listing said air conditioning. Other than that it was a nice place and spacious for our family of 6.

Amazing location and nice unit but ...

The location alone would command a 5 star review as the property is literally one block from the beach. Overall, the unit is nice and clean with plenty of room for a family. However, there were a few issues that others should know. 1) The heater in the master bedroom was a joke. There was a small space heater placed on a stool with a fan running next to it to heat up the room. There were no other heating vents in the room. The room also had a damp smell. 2) The unit didn't have a fireplace although that's noted in the description. 3) The communication with the property agent was terrible. Although this listing is on Vrbo, the property is listed by Vacasa (an international agency) and further managed locally by a different rental company (Sea Breeze). On New Years' Eve, when there was a power outage, it took over 3 hours to finally get someone locally who could provide status of the issue and resolution. Also, simple requests (such as when asked for toilet paper) were denied via the text support line yet the local team showed up next morning to replenish! Some other minor items that would have made the experience better … 1) The sheets were nice but there were no fitted sheets to cover the mattress (only flat sheets) 2) There was no shampoo, conditioner or any basic cooking supplies (oil, sugar etc). To be fair, these items were not listed in the property description.

Thanksgiving in Newport Beach

This was a great location for our Thanksgiving holiday. It is a short walk to the beach. Close enough to walk to the boardwalk yet far enough away to have some peace and quiet. Unfortunately the apartment had a few issues. There is no center heat in the master bedroom and en-suite bathroom. This should be noted in the listing. Fortunately we discovered small electric space heaters in the closet. In addition the dishwasher leaked badly to the point it was not usable. We notified the manager so hopefully that will be fixed before the next rental.
