We had a great time. The hosts were great to work with. Place was clean and right on the beach. It was everything that was advertised. FYI: I drive a Honda Pilot and it did not fit in the parking space available it was too small. We parked on the street which was pretty easy and did not have any problems.

Our family loved staying on the beach for the Thanksgiving Holiday. It was amazing to be able to step right onto the beach and hear the waves every day from the lower-level unit. This unit is within walking distance to everything. Only minor issues with the kitchen sink leaking and a few ants that joined us for Thanksgiving dinner. But the Host was very responsive to all communications and request. I would like to see a few updates to the unit and then I would definitely book again.

Incredible Beach Weekend

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a large group at the house for the weekend. The back patio opened onto the sand. There was a BBQ which we took advantage of. The kitchen is stocked with all the dishes and things we needed to cook with. The house was terrific. We had an absolutely fabulous time.

Sitting on the patio and watching the water and sunset was outstanding. My only negative was the parking spot was too little for a regular size car. Had to fold in side mirrors and struggle to get car in. An SUV would never make it. Tell people to rent a small size car. There is no other place to park. But besides this issue it was a wonderful trip. Great location and nice people. I was impressed.

Family together time

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Wonderful time! We were only the "Boardwalk" width from the sand. The place is great for walking or biking. A quick walk down the alley or boardwalk gets you to a small market that also rents bikes, paddle boards and kayaks. My only complaint would be the floors. I don't think they were mopped before our stay. Also, the vacuum provided had no bag, so I only had a broom and dustpan. Otherwise, the unit, beds and linens were great! Anyone I dealt with at Burr was very helpful. They also let us check in early because the last renters checked out the day before. Awesome service!!

Week at the beach

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Good experience, got to entertain family meet locals, go to farmers market on Sunday. Enjoyed walks between piers. Spent part of day in Balboa, took a harbor cruise. Rented lower unit # C, could hear people above us at bedtime. Parking was issue unfortunately I rented the unit with the smallest space only able to park compact cars. I brought an SUV. Once I figured out street parking all was ok. Burr white office did supply us with extra sheets and towels for our guests. Request to fix tv remote was honored. Check in on Saturday at Burr white office fairly quick but surprised at how crowded parking lot and office were at 3pm.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Aside from two injuries sustained due to poor condition of stairs we enjoyed the view from the rooftop deck. Our feet, however, were blackened by the accumulated dirt and grunge on the rooftop deck that appears to go unaddressed. The fridge bracing inside door was broken and kept falling out. Some windows were duct taped shut. Remaining windows were very hard to use/open. Overall for the money I spent, the condition of this home and our related experience was a substantial letdown. I will not rent it again.

It was located right at the beach where the wedding was to take place.The property's floor was dirty. My daughter woke up covered in ants. Stains on the bedspreads. When I called the rental company Hanna said they would send cleaners, new bedspreads and exterminators. The only thing they followed through with was the exterminators. In addition, the freezer rack is very rusty, makes it feel dirty. Could easily spray appliance paint on it to freshen it up (ice trays old and cracked, very cheap at Ikea to replace). Disappointed in rental companies follow through.

Better than expected on the sand

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We are pretty picky when it comes to beach rentals. We rented this one last minute. The pictures are exactly as is. The lower patio is very nice but lacking nice furniture which was disappointing since that's where we spend the majority of our time. Currently there is just a plastic table and 5 or 6 chairs. The bedrooms are pleasantly decorated and the entire place was very clean. The bathrooms are large and plenty of closet and drawers for all our clothes. Parking as everyone has mentioned is difficult but should not stop you from renting here. The laundry is shared in the carport, so maybe that's why they charge you, which was disappointing. The towels are small and sheets weee very worn. Beds stiff but fine for the week. I would bring my own linens next time.

Parking is ridiculous. The description was two small car parking. Maybe two smart cars for “A” rental parking. It was so tight that we only pulled our car in part way. We literally had 3” on each side with the mirrors pulled in. Back of the car stuck out of the so called carport. I called to see if they had any ideas for parking, they said that they would call me back and never did.

The staff informed me of the measurements for spot C not A. Upon arriving letters were added above spaces: C B A. Not A B C. Throughout the week I had to find parking. The ‘kids’ in C were extremely loud, late into the night and had numerous cars in the carport. I probably wouldn’t request this house due to the parking. Thank you.

Great location, beautiful beach

We had a great time at this beachfront property. There was a school park out front, a couple of doors down , which was great for our little kids. The beach is huge, with amazing sand and fairly quiet. There were miles of paved paths to walk with our stroller, which was perfect for us. It is a beautiful spot with a great front patio, perfect for people watching and watching the kids play in the sand. The unit is clean and functional, and stocked with what we needed, but is a little run down in a couple of areas. Specifically, the couch and front blinds need replacing. The parking stall for our particular unit was small given that it is the biggest unit of the three and a family vehicle was required (the other two smaller units had wider spaces). It would have been nice if beach towels were supplied as most people do not travel with them for the whole family. Overall we would not hesitate to stay here again. With some minor upgrades this place would be a home run.

Great place to stay

This was a great property in a fantastic location! there was so much for the kids to do with the play ground and areas to ride scooters, roller blades, skate boards. The house was set up perfectly for everything that we needed, we would definitely stay here again.

The place was perfect. Not fancy. But perfect location and supplied with comfort and easy livability! Bonus** the fridge kept the beers ice cold.

Reviewer Comments: We live local, but not on the beach, and we thought it was be a great idea to celebrate my birthday with sunsets on a rooftop, overlooking the beach. It was absolutely perfect. The home is well taken care of, and plenty of space for our guests. We had no issues whatsoever, and would happily come back and stay at the same property, or another home through Burr White.

Amazing location for families with young kids!

The location was absolutely prime! Right on the boardwalk. Walk to restaurants and rental shops. The best part for us with young kids was watching them on the playground and in the sand right from the porch!
