The first thing thing to hit you is the reception staff , so polite helpful and friendly ! The reception area , clean and had a welcome feeling. The room we had must have been refurbished as it had in place the things you needed , like somewhere to hang your coats and my wife said a shower with a folding door . The man at the reception was so helpful in giving advice on the places to see and how to get there . Breakfast was great! My wife and I (we are in our early eighties)decided on a whim to spend a few days in Newcastle and we loved the city and the hotel made it great

Hotel & breakfast good, However foo made in the evening was very poor. we had spent 7.5 hours in A&E and were hungry ordered toasties which were awful. I would change that on their menu!

Staff were great. Hotel is a standard holiday inn with a silly overpriced cost. Parking is a multi story adjacent with the usual minute spaces & ridiculous navigation issues. Relatively expensive too. £13 overnight. Hotel is well situated for most of the city centre stuff
