Kerry at reception was so accommodating it was a real pleasure. The toilet paper “behind” the toilet was a little inconvenient but … so what. Not much you can do about that.

Chosen for location, stayed in a villa (room 21). Room layout has the couch under the tv, the dining suite is an outdoor patio set and uncomfortable, the courtyard light would be better with a sensor rather than a push button timer, the curtains didn’t quite close, and the bed was rock hard and squeaked all night, also the doona is a summer weight, even with the extra blanket it was freezing cold as aircon was ineffective and wouldn’t turn off no matter what and hissed all night, the bed lights are bright overhead led’s and both turn on together, bring back individually switched bedside lamps. So not a great stay.

Safe area and 8 mins drive to MacDonald Stadium, close by to local shops and eatery at Hamilton was great. Lots of parking on site and friendly staff. Rooms are great for the price, clean bathroom and all amenities, had a microwave, toaster , fridge, which was awesome with tea n coffee amenties. The only downside with our room although it said sound proof, was it was not for upstairs as we could hear the family above us stomping around and sound
