After the reviews I wasn't going too book. But a friend had stayed there n said it was good. We found it clean n comfortable. Spa was good though shower over it was abit hard too use. Would stay there again. Parking is first in first served so get there early too get a park close too your villa.

Alright for an overnight - nothing more. Cleanliness questionable. Filthy towels which is quite funny seeing the sign in the bathroom (see photo). No dishwasher even though they call themselves "executive"! Parking a real issue if you get there late. Next time we'll just stop somewhere on the Pacific Highway - cheaper and more accessible to the north.

Stayed here for a night as other accommodation I booked wasn't actually written down on other end so needed somewhere closer to John Hunter Hospital at the last minute. Thankfully Jesmond Executive Villas had availability. We had a 1 bedroom apartment which cost us $137 for the one night. Liked there idea of the text with the room access code so don't have a key to worry about. The room was fairly big. Kitchen area had hotplates and microwave but no oven. Decent size room with a very large bed. Bathroom was fairly big with a big spa bath in it and shower. The downside of the room is that there was dirt and dust everywhere. On fridge, cupboards, lounge, table, along edges of wall on floor. The bathroom was slippery black tiles when wet, no shower screen on shower so water goes everywhere including all over toilet. The spa is big but recessed into floor which meant getting onto your knees to put plug in and fill up. Toilet flush button was broken and mouldy. Overall I don't recommend staying here if can be avoided.

nice room but cool. Floor and wall are dark tiles which is not a problem in summer but got this cold feeling in winter. very large bed, spa and shower. close to restaurants and hotel across the road..

Stayed In Room 62, it was very spacious and Very Clean as well as Comfortable (Best Bed I've Ever Slept on) and overall great customer service. Although the air conditioner was broken they replaced the air con very quickly and effectively as well as giving extra blankets to sleep.

We stayed for four nights then travelled and came back for an overnight stay. Upon arrival they tried to shift us to another hotel but we said no. We wished we hadn't said no as they put us in a donga room. The first night was okay but then some students checked in an partied ALL NIGHT for the next three nights. When we came back we had an apartment and thought it was nice until we walked on the floor and it was still sticky from all the alcohol that had been dropped and the cleaner had not even mopped. We had to use the broom in soapy water to mop it ourselves it was that sticky. Then then noise from the other apartments....take earplugs if you want to sleep. Although new, they need to work out the cleanliness and noise issues. I even sent the Manager a text at night telling him to come and tell the students to shut the F up! It didnt work and they continued until about 4am.

We were attending Newcastle for a family wedding with six units booked for at least two nights each. In our particular apartment, we had paid for seven people and the room was only made up for six. We were not informed that we had to find the seventh bed in the pull out couch, which was not made up as a bed and didn't have blankets, pillows or a towel. On the other beds, there were no doona covers, only sheets wrapped around the doona insert and there was hair inside the pillow cases, from previous guests. We found rubbish still out on the balcony where someone had been sitting and food still in the cupboard. The shower drain was so blocked with hair that water was flowing out into the ensuite. The laundry onsite is also for public use, so often, there was not enough car parks for apartment guests as people were parked there using the laundry. We spent a lot of time driving around, looking for somewhere to park, even though each apartment should have had at least one car park allowed for it. We were extremely disappointed and so were the other five families that had rented apartments also. We would never stay there again.

We stayed in a 2 b/r apartment. It was an older house, very spacious and had all the things you need for a family stay. With wooden floor boards throughout it was a bit cold but warmed up well with the heater on. Easy parking and walking distance to restaurants and a shopping centre. Unfortunately the apartment is about 10 meters from Newcastle Rd, which is very busy for most of the night(until about 3/4am and then again from 6am). It's right at a set of lights so on Friday night we heard cars stopped and revving their engines, taking off spinning wheels. I had read reviews of the noise but am generally a good sleeper and not too bad with noise, this was terrible and our 2 kids didn't sleep well either. I'm not sure if an apartment behind us would be quieter.

Total disaster. Staff extremely unhelpful with late check in like they were Doing me a favour giving me an SMS Access code. Had to ring three times for them to get it right. The rooms. Were Noisy constant traffic sounds throughout the night. Bathrooms were dangerous and tiles massive slip Hazard when wet. Lastly there was no parking as other guest had used multiple parks. All in all a total write off. Do Yourself a favour and stay well away.

We won't be staying here again. The rooms were basic but ok - the real problem was the staff. Rude and upish on arrival, they clearly expected us to wait for them to finish whatever they were doing before even acknowledging we stood in front of them. We then had a real problem opening the electronic door to the rooms and a maintenance guy had to help. He struggled too, and returning at 11pm the door just would not open despite using the right code and hearing the door unlock. Of course the reception was closed. Finally the door opened but to honest I was about to barge it down. We went to report this problem but guess what? Despite there being four people in reception we might have well been invisible. No acknowledgment at all. Do your selves a favour - don't stay here. #marcmegatour #makarkeyplaywork
