We spent one night with our family for a Newcastle visit. We appreciated the friendly and efficient staff, free wifi, easy parking and the availability of breakfast at a reasonable price.Thank you all staffs.

Wow, I now see what they mean about pod bathroom..I found it fascinating and cool to use since I've never seen anything like it in my life. Shower was excellent, great water pressure. Room adequate, bit musty smelling ..but who knows maybe that was me, I had been in the car a while 😁 Traveled with our baby, but brought our own cot with us - good black out curtains so we all slept well. Overall an ok place to rest to break up a long journey or a budget choice to be in the city

The room was small, but not really an issues as i was only staying the night. The bathroom on the other hand was smaller than expected. The room was a little run down and in need of some updating The location of the hotel is fantastic and can't be beaten. Staff at the hotel were fairly friendly, they helped me out and pointed me in the direction of some great places for lunch.

Negatives - Very small room; hard to access and tiny bathroom, expensive for the size of the room, fridge not plugged in and you had to be a contortionist to plug it in. Positives - Staff at front counter were friendly; 24 hour bar; food was good from the bar restaurant; comfy bed; location.

Went there last weekend with my friends it was amazing stay, quite clean rooms, amazing helpful staff perfect location, great value for the price, for sure will be back again recommend it for everyone

This hotel had friendly staff, who went out of their way to ensure I had all the details about the local area. The room itself was clean, well presented and had an unusual, but not unattractive shape. The location is very useful for access to public transport and food, which was only one block away.

Funny hotel. Slightly the wrong side of town (but fast improving). Rooms a strange config but all you need. Fridge, road and plumbing noisy from my room but all very functional. Staff very helpful, rooms clean and made up daily. Could do worse for the price. 3.5 stars if I could award it.

Check in was very good with Alana,(incorrect spelling!) info good, very pleasant, friendly and helpful. During my 4 night stay all the staff were friendly and helpful. Check out equally so with Taylah, who was also very bubbly during my stay and always had a smile on her face. I loved the breakfasts and dinners and the choices were very reasonable. The room was very clean as was the whole hotel and the bed very comfortable. I had good sleeps every night even though I was close to the lift, it was quiet. There were a lot of people staying on a few days and noise was never a problem. The shower was hot once it got going and very powerful too. I did mention while checking out that it was one of the best hotels I had stayed in and I am looking forward to staying there the next time I visit Newcastle.

Yet another great Ibis! This hotel is in an excellent location within easy walking distance of all you need for a good stay. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times, rooms comfortable clean and well-equipped. At the end of my stay, I arrived at the airport to find it closing due to bush fires. On my return to the hotel there was a warm, reassuring and sympathetic welcome, and it was good to be able to spend my extra night back “home” at the Ibis!

For such a small hotel and the location this we surprising good. Rooms are a little strange with the bathroom setup, but the rest of the hotel rooms and facilities were great. A small but effective eating area on the ground floor was enjoyable.
