We have been booking rentals online for years (in state and out of state), and this was our best experience yet: best host by far, and descriptions and photos were all spot-on. The neat thing about this property and amenities is that even if the weather or water conditions are not ideal, there is so much to do on the property, that it is not problem at all. Joshua did an awesome job with how-to videos for all the amenities, so you knew exactly how to use them, adjust them, etc. without having to do the research on your own. We also appreciated many of the little things: basic condiments, paper and soap products that were provided, lots of towels for the bathrooms, extra blankets, basic flip flops for navigating out to the spa amenities, yard games, and games in the cabin too, etc.. It just made packing for a quick weekend away a lot easier, as we didn’t have to feel like we remembered “everything.”The wet/steam sauna got super hot (great video provided on tricks for this), and the barrel cold plunges were ice cold. Infrared sauna was great too, and a good option in the mix. The cabin is on a little hill, so the views from the outside amenities and inside the cabin were spectacular! Dock was nice and long and could easily accommodate our boat, and the boat launch was a minute away (super easy). We did not get a chance to paddle at all (white caps most of our stay) but the equipment looked well maintained and ample in supply!

The VRBO was an excellent getaway for a girl's weekend in early April. The house was clean, spacious, and was easy to access via Google Maps. The hot tub and saunas were spacious for 4-6 people (and operational in the winter time!), all of the beds had great views of the lake, and the kitchen was fairly stocked with appliances/cutlery/plates so we did not need to bring any additional silverware or plates.The floors were heated, which was a really nice luxury and the bathrooms were spacious enough for multiple women to get ready at the same time. We spent most of the time in the living space, but all the beds in the VRBO were comfortable, and the bedrooms offered enough privacy for those who needed it.The VRBO owner was very communicative, had a snow plow service plow the driveway for us so we could leave, and was sincerely great to talk with! We would definitely book here again without hesitations, in the winter or summertime.

Stayed here over a long weekend with my wife on a winter getaway. This place was everything we were looking for. From the saunas to the hot tub everything was amazing and help provide a quiet relaxing weekend away to read and unwind. Josh was an amazing host. Was always quick to respond and help with anything we had questions on. We've used VRBO for years and I'll say Josh was the most gracious and responsive host we have ever had. Thanks for such an amazing weekend.

We vacationed on the coldest weekend of the year. Josh was great to prepare the place for a deep freeze and we enjoyed ourselves and were able to relax as a family. The massage chair was enjoyed by all and the kids and my husband went hot tubbing though it was -30! They said it was great! The sauna was wonderful and the bath tub in the master is marvelous! We would love to return in the summer to enjoy the lake someday.

Excellent winter weekend getaway. I booked this for my wires birthday weekend getaway. Between the sauna, hot tub, and massage chair, it was just what we needed for a relaxing weekend. Josh was the most responsive host we've had, hands down. He was on vacation and still responded when we reached out super quickly. We loved our stay. Highly recommend!

We had a fantastic time......Having a place that accommodates a large group but has amenities to fill the down time truly made the the stay memorable....From the sauna to the large main room it was a perfect setting for a group to come together and relax and be in fellowship. We will be back for sure and I would recommend to anybody.

The property was perfect for a family vacation. The hot tub, sauna and massage chair were bonuses for ultimate relaxation. The kayaks, yard games and bonfire pit allowed us to spend ample time outdoors. We would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely perfect weekend getaway place-wish we had planned a liner stay! Went with 6 of my girlfriends from high school on our annual chill/catch up weekend. We were delighted from the moment we arrived until the end. Very well thought out home plan that is perfect for a group that wants to hang together! We used the hot tub, sauna, kayaks/paddle boards/floating raft, massage chair (someone was in it non stop it seemed) and red light therapy. Ran out of time so didn’t try the ice baths, but we wanted to! Lots more to do too. So fun. Peaceful quiet area with beautiful lake views from all rooms/beds and outdoor spaces. Cabin was clean and had everything we needed! The pictures and description are true to everything, only better when seeing in person. Josh, the owner was great to talk to and available if anything was needed at all. I can see his love for what he’s creating (and continually creating) so that people can enjoy and make memories. And our group definitely did. Great experience, fully. Now I want to bring our family!

This place was fantastic! There were so many amenities, we didnt get to use them all. Lots of comfortable sleeping areas, great for big groups. The massage chair was legit! My 3 yr old love the slide and paddleboards. The floating dock is great, as the shallow lake bottom is pretty mucky. We appreciated having coffee and condiments available too. I would definstay here again, and recommend it to family and friends!

Great location for relaxing!

We stayed at this property with our 6 children, and it was the perfect spot to relax and spread out. Plenty of places to sleep, lots of seating outside, well-stocked kitchen and outdoor toys. Would definitely stay here again when visiting family in the area!

Anniversary stay

My husband and I picked to stay here for our anniversary! After our trip, we felt so relaxed and connected with the opportunity to use a nice massage chair, chill in a hot tub, enjoy the beautiful sunsets in the hammocks, and have fun on the kayaks! The hosts were very kind and helpful. Will definitely be back!

End of Summer Lake Vacation

We booked originally because of the look of the Cabin, Rush Lake, the Paddle Boards and the Hot Tub. It was so much more than that. We wish we could of stayed longer. Lets start with the Cabin itself. It is packed with features that you will love during your stay and will help you relax, from the Hot Tub and Sauna, to the Massage Chair (We had a line every night of people using the chair). It is truly awesome. We also loved the Rainfall Showers and the Heated Floors. There is also an Ice Bath feature but we did get around to using that, but it was awesome to have as an option. The Kitchen and Patio were also major players for us. We only ate out one night, heading to Brew Ales and Eates in Perham (Excellent and Recommended). All the other days we cooked Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner in and had everything we needed at the Glory Cabin to make those meals happen. A very nicely equipped Kitchen with everything you need and more. Great space on the patio to enjoy your meals, morning coffee or just a spot to chill. Even better is that it has a great view of the lake. Enough space on the patio to accommodate all, with two large tables The outdoor space is fantastic as well and has everything you need to enjoy the yard and the lake. Firepit, SUP, Kayaks and more. We used it all. The lake is a very good fishing lake for all types of fishing. Bring your boat and they will even help get you on fish. 5 Stars and we will be back. Book The Glory Cabin and Relax, Fish and Make Memories.

Easy to get to, hard to leave!

We were looking for a quick getaway from the busyness of life. This was it. In the morning we work up to a spectacular view of the lake from every window in the home. The entire home was filled with sunshine. We were able to enjoy our breakfast outside by lake and relax a little before heading out on the lake to fish. We enjoyed our morning on the lake and decided to spend a little time inside the cabin during the heat of the day. Cabin has much to offer in form of just relaxing. We were able to take a little afternoons nap in the air conditioning before heading out again on the lake. After we finished fishing for the day we enjoyed a great meal. Kitchen is fully equipped with everything you can could need. As a bonus, we enjoyed a dip in the hot tub and enjoyed star gazing in style, as well as few minutes in the sauna. It was very peaceful and relaxing. We had no problem catching up on some much needed rest! We could not have asked for a greater host. Our entire stay was thoroughly enjoyable! We will definitely be booking again!
