Nestled in the scenic beauty of the Hocking Hills region, this inviting retreat offers the perfect blend of comfort, privacy, and adventure. Surrounded by nature and located near top local attractions such as Lake Hope State Park, Moonville Tunnel, Burr Oak State Park, Stroud’s Run State Park, and Ohio University, you’ll never run out of places to explore.

This spacious getaway sits on over 5 acres of land and features 3 comfortable bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen with dining area, and a cozy living room perfect for relaxing with family or friends. Stay connected with internet/Wi-Fi and enjoy streaming your favorite shows on Netflix. Please note: It is a rural area and we cannot control or predict internet speeds and availability.

Step outside to enjoy your own private above-ground pool (open seasonally from Memorial Day through Labor Day, weather permitting) and unwind in the private hot tub under the stars. A washer and dryer are available for your convenience during your stay. Our pool will be open through the end of September 2025.

Please note: Early check-ins and late check-outs may be available for an additional fee and are subject to availability. Garage access is currently unavailable. Refunds are not provided for early departures.

The hot tub was very nice and I so enjoyed all the time I spent in it. Unfortunately the pool was too cold for me but that’s okay.

House has a rodent problem. Mice droppings were found in living room, one bedroom, and throughout kitchen/kitchen cupboards. Our food was broken into. We had to buy a tote at Dollar General to store our food during stay. Pots/pans and silverware had droppings and needed washed immediately upon arrival. We ended up storing the cleaned silverware in the microwave after.No indication house has active internet service (despite description stating otherwise).There's just a router you can connect to.2nd shower did not feel structurally stable, and basin was peeling from the wall. We would not use.The seats/bottom of the hottub had layer of dirt or possibly asphalt from roof shingles upon arrival.These concerns were all relayed to owner with no response. I strongly recommend staying away from this property until the owner expresses interest in caring for it.

Wonderful house with terrific amenities - the swimming pool and hot tub were a highlight! The master bathroom needs some love but overall a terrific house in a very secluded area in the heart of The Hocking Hills!

Very outdated and in need of tlc

First off this place is in a great location. Very quiet and peaceful country road. It was mostly clean and has potential. However, it is very outdated and felt a little dirty. It has mice/rats and there was lots of evidence. Cabinets and closets aren’t anything most people would put anything in. Showers were icky. We stayed one night even though we paid for two. Just couldn’t get out quick enough to be honest. We were drawn in by the pool so our grand daughters could swim but the pool was filthy. I don’t think it has a working filter. We feel like it should’ve been a little nicer for nearly 300/night. We wrote it off as lesson learned. Do not stay in rentals that don’t have reviews. This is all our personal experience and completely honest. Was going to ask VRBO for a partial refund but figured maybe the owners would put a little money into cleaning things up. We have rented from VRBO NEARLY 100 times and this is our first negative experience.
