The hotel itself was fine, but there were several issues. A $30 per day resort fee was charged and not disclosed in advance, and it provided no additional services. Valet parking charged $60 but never delivered my truck, claiming they were short-staffed. I was told to walk two blocks to a public parking lot, which I did while carrying my bags. I called the hotel three times and was told a one-day credit would be issued, but it still hasn’t happened.

We were there a wedding. Our room wasn’t available until later that evening after 5pm. It was so hot in the hotel and our room. Room had very little water pressure. We will not stay here again.

The location was fantastic, the lobby and common areas were cute and nicely decorated with a great vibe. When I checked in they took down my card for incidentals and when doing it the concierge told me that this was only for damages and that my room was already paid in full so I would get it back. The room was small, had no overhead light, and a musty smell. There were NO amenities to speak of, but I normally wouldn't complain since we were there to see New Orleans and just needed a place to sleep. That being said, I was surprised when checking out that they would be charging me almost 18% of my stay's total in what the concierge called an "amenities fee". Especially since when checking in they said I had no balance due. Beyond disappointed with their initial lie and their unwillingness to waive the fee for amenities I was not given.

Wonderful gem of a hotel!! I will be booking again whenever Im in the city. Only complaint is that voices from guests at the hotel bar carries up to the room through the open air space.
