The area is mostly quiet on the weekdays but louder and more active on the weekends. I like that it’s not in the center of everything so I can relax after a long day of walking and tours, but close enough I’m not breaking the bank on Ubers. Very short Uber rides to the French quarter and Garden District and only about 20 mins from the airport. There is a grocery store almost directly across the street, super easy and convenient. The house was clean, well stocked for a vacation home with nice modern amenities. The owner was very communicative and friendly. If/when we return to the area, we will most likely stay here or at another property from this owner.
