The location of this listing was fantastic. We had 4 day tickets to JazzFest and walked to and from the festival every day. It took about 30 minutes each direction and was a beautiful walk. Aside from that, there were a lot of walkable restaurants in the area with great food. Groceries were a 10 minute drive away. The place was very clean and modern but had a couple things going against it. The toilet seats were the wrong size and not meant for those bowls. We had a laugh about it but still needed to be careful. The hot water worked in one shower but was lukewarm in the other one. Eventually we figured out the flexible hose in the bathtub had hot water too. It was a necessary discovery after applying sunscreen all day. The dishwasher still functioned but was the plastic frame was broken and there was no lid to keep the detergent pod in. Regardless, I'd stay there again. The 2nd floor was a great spot to meet up at the end of the day. The seats at the island and the couches were comfortable. There was a ton of space and it had nice balconys. When you changed the thermostat, it responded quickly. I give props to the host for being clear about all the different keycodes necessary to use the space, though a couple needed a little trial and error. It was memorable and as I said, I'd go back.
