The Cabin was the perfect location for what we wanted to do in the area. The Cabin itself was very nice and the hosts wonderful. Would definitely want to stay there again if we come back.

Lovely 2 night stay! Did some shopping nearby and visited the Dukes of Hazard museum. Nice, quiet and relaxing accommodation. Everything we needed was provided.

This is an amazing property. Everything was as promised, and communications with the owner (Ilana) were great! We were in the area to do some hiking in Shenandoah National Park and this was a great home base. It's very secluded and quiet. We enjoyed waking up to the morning chorus of birds, as well as taking advantage of the hot tub after long days on the trails. It made for an amazing getaway!You can't go wrong with this property!

Amazing property! Exactly as pictured! Great location! Super clean, cozy and very comfortable with a great hot tub and outdoor seating area. The hosts definitely have the gift of hospitality - they literally thought of everything down to the smallest detail! We highly recommend staying here!

We rented this lovely property for a weekend getaway. It is very well appointed, clean and remarkably roomy for a two bedroom cabin. The deck has comfortable outdoor furniture and the fire table made for a cozy place to enjoy a glass of wine. Our host was responsive and provided timely information related to check-in. Suggestions for nearby restaurants and activities were spot on. We enjoyed hiking in the nearby George Washington National Forest as well. We would definitely love to return!

This was a perfect place for a cozy mom’s weekend. It was a beautiful vibe of modern cabin in the woods. The open concept floor plan allowed us to cook, read, and watch tv but stay connected. Location was ideal to visit New Market and some nice wineries.

Ilana the host is very open for questions and was very quick to respond if I did need anything. The house was very clean and I did not have any problems the whole time staying there. The hot tub was clean and very nice. I will absolutely be coming back!

My wife and I had a great pre-Thanksgiving getaway at this cozy cabin above New Market. It was a very quiet, private stay in a very well-stocked home with all the cooking gear you need, a Keurig, a smart TV, a great hot tub, a fire table, a new propane grill, and cozy beds. Don’t hesitate to book if you’re looking for a peaceful retreat!

The Lakota Cabin was everything we needed—and more! The space was cozy, clean, and exactly as advertised, with every amenity thoughtfully provided. We were especially touched by the special details added to help us celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary and my wife’s birthday. Those gestures truly made our stay feel personal and memorable.The hot tub was the perfect way to unwind in the evenings, and the cabin created an ideal mix of comfort and relaxation throughout our visit. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will absolutely be making arrangements to return. Highly recommend!

Lakota Cabin is the perfect little get away! Everything was just as described, plus a few extras to make us feel welcome. It’s beautiful, comfortable, very clean, and has a well stocked kitchen. We hope to return soon!

Our first time staying at Lakota cabin & it did notdisappoint! From the time you walk in the door you feel at home it is so clean beautiful & cozy. The hosts have thought of everything from having all your kitchen needs like salt pepper oil spices bag of ice snacks & coffee station. They supply bathroom soaps & laundry detergent also. The hot tub was wonderful can tell it is well maintained & cleaned each time. Host is always very responsive & quick to answer any questions & is very kind. The birthday card & wine was so thoughtful! Cabin is at a nice location & has neighbors but is very secluded. We had an amazing time & would definitely stay here again for a future visit to Virgina!

Amazing peaceful getaway

Everything in the listing was spot on and then some! Our host were so nice and provided a clean, comfortable and serene place for us to stay on our getaway vacation. The cabin was so homey and welcoming. There are sooooo many things to do and see in the area. I highly recommend the Lakota Cabin.
