Rainbow 3 - one of the best value in the area

The hotel is located at the southern end of Sunny Beach near the main beach front night clubs. Set back a couple of hundred metres from the main strip it is a very quiet location. The majority of the staff were very helpful but to be honest they are not friendly or welcoming but I've received the same treatment in Spain, Portugal etc. The resort area doesn't have that much of cultural interest, Old Nessebar is worth a visit but beyond that there is little so we ended up spending a lot of time around the hotel pool which was comfortable and relaxing. The only -ve is that when booking the room with Expedia I had the impression that the rooms had a sofa bed (so I felt ok booking a double room for my kids to share) - not all rooms do the description seems to apply to the bigger apartments.

Åk inte hit!!

Detta "hotell" är ett skämt. Bilderna var otroligt missvisande! Bilderna fick det att se ut som att hotellet låg på stranden vilket inte var fallet. Detta hotell är inte ett hotell utan ett lägenhetskomplex bestående av tre fastigheter: Rainbow 1, 2 och 3. Vad som inte gick att se i förväg var att varken Rainbow 2 eller 3 har bemannad reception, så vi var tvungna att gå till Rainbow 1 för att få tag i nyckeln till rummet (något som inte stod på hotels.com, utan som vår taxichaufför informerade oss om). Lägenheten vi hyrde var så liten att ytterdörren slog i sängen när man öppnade den. Badrummet luktade blöt hund/avlopp och kryllade av myror. Poolområdet var det bästa på Rainbow, men fortfarande inte i närheten av bilderna. Alldeles för få solstolar. Kl 9.00 på morgonen kom städpersonalen för att städa rummet och aktiverade en brandlarmsliknande signal i lägenheten som var deras sätt att köra upp en ur sängen för att de skulle städa. Sen väntar de 1 sekund och går in med huvudnyckel. Vi fick flyga upp ur sängen och blockera dörren för att de inte skulle storma in när vi inte ens hade hunnit sätta på oss några kläder. Inte superroligt sätt att börja dagen på! Vi checkade ut efter halva vistelsen. Åk aldrig hit!! Katastrof!!

The apartment was small but very nice, not like the pictures but nice. But the there were only one frying pan and one pot which was not so nice to me but we could handle it. But the really not so nice thing was the cleaning! Cleaners changed our bedlinen and towels only once! They never clened our floor, which was dirty because of wet feet. When the cleaners came they only took rubbish and left one toilet paper roll. And they didn’t even come every day. Breakfest was also not as good as 4star Hotels should have,very little options. It was Ok if you dont expect much. Pool area was nice and the fact that u could use 3 different pools from 3 buildings is really good. At Our pool All the seats were allready taken by the breakfest! Everybody just reserved the seats even when they came many hours later. :( But All and All it was okay experience when we settle for little.
