One of the nicest rental properties I have ever been in. In addition to being an incredible home with amazing views, the decor was nice and in general well furnished. Also, this was the most clean and organized place I have ever stayed! Clearly well taken care of.

The house is absolutely beautiful and the view is breathtaking. Ah-mazing views!

Loved our time at this fabulous rental. Very clean and comfortable. Well stocked…probably more so than any other VRBO we’ve ever stayed in. Incredibly responsive host. We are already planning a return visit. With all of that said, the listing should mention that the elevator is not available for guests to use. We were traveling with 2 disabled people. The main level provided easy access for one of them. The second, who is a wheelchair user, had to be driven down to the lower level every night and driven back up in the mornings. A bit inconvenient especially on a rainy night. Other than that one minor thing, WE LOVED IT!

Spiritual Getaway

Quiet neighborhood with a heavenly view. It snowed while we were there, and the area roads management was impressive.Property is reasonably well-appointed. Perhaps geared more toward an adult party venue, we did find family-oriented supplies limited. Bring your own games, books. I would not recommend this property for families with young children for obvious reasons. The price of the view is a higher risk of slip/falls on the back incline, especially in snow.This rental is a special blessing for adults.Property is lovel

Terrific views.

We particularly enjoyed the spectacular views. Beds were comfy. Found the decor a bit overdone. Lighting was hard to figure out (especially since we were directed to keep outside lighting at a minimum.) Master toilet didn't work (sent message to property manager). One bedroom on mid-level did not have a bathroom access (found that to be a little strange) and not represented in information about the house. Hot water not working in one of the kitchen sinks and took forever to get hot in the other one. Overall we had a great time.

Stunning Views!

We had a fabulous time at Blackrock Manor to celebrate a 90th birthday. The house works well for an elderly person as no steps are required to enter the house and the primary bedroom is located on the main level. The house is very nice, beautifully decorated, nicely equipped but the real show stopper are the views from the huge rear decks! Absolutely stunning!

Wonderful

Best experience we’ve had with a rental - ever! Amazing home with wonderful views. Homeowners ensured everything was perfect for our stay and even decorated for my husbands birthday with treats. Everyday was perfect weather and sunsets were beautiful. Will definitely go back. Thank you to Robin and Kirk for wonderful time.

Top of the Mountain!

Perfection! Absolutely spectacular from the moment we arrived! The welcoming Butterfly Blessings' sign and bear art sculpture had our grandchildren giggling with joy! Upon entering we were amazed by the lovely decor and oh the views! Truly an artist's touch with snowball chandeliers, lovely seating areas, restful bedrooms and a stocked kitchen! A Christmas tree of either colored lights, white lights and twinkling lights against the best views of Wintergreen had us all amazed! The bathroom sinks, each wonderfully different, added to the fun of this holiday haven! Immaculate, three great levels with a game room of foos ball/pool table/ basketball hoops and scrabble entertained all! We were ages 2-64 and the hot tub and fire pits as well as a staircase leading to a circular patio below was gorgeous! Every item you could imagine with tasteful elegance was given and has us waiting to return! The best of the best! The owners go above and beyond, excellent communication and their essence of loving hospitality shines through! Did I mention the sunrise, sunsets and stars? Perfection at the top of the mountain! Thank you!

Great for a family vacation

My family got together for a weekend getaway. This was the perfect house to stay at. The view from the balcony was amazing! Every morning I sat outside for a few minutes to soak it in. I would recommend doing your grocery shopping when you first arrive because there are not many restaurants in the area. We went on a few hikes and enjoyed the beautiful views!

One of the best getaways we have had as a family. Views are to die for!! And handicap accessibility is great. Love the nice sheets and towels. Kitchen was great for family meals.

Beautiful property and amazing view!

We rented this property to celebrate my mother’s 70th birthday - our party included 6 adults and 4 kids (ages 8-14). The house had plenty of room for all of us (including a table that easily sat 10!). By far the best feature was the view! We were lucky to have perfect weather so we spent most of the long weekend sitting on the deck just admiring it. The owners were so helpful and responsive - they even left a birthday gift for my mom! I wish we could go back here every weekend!

Fantastic Stay!

Incredible property with everything you need along with the best view on the mountain! We had the whole family here ranging in age from 2 to 75 years old and everyone had a blast. Would definitely rent again.

What a wonderful home with every amenity you could think of. The views were just beautiful and the sauna and steam room were our favorite. We plan on going back very soon. The owners were very responsive and helpful.

Harmonious Sanctuary

WOW!!! This place is spectacular! It will make you feel like you stepped into another realm. We have traveled a lot and this is by far is the most amazing peaceful place to spend time with your family & get away fom it all. I wish I could upload pictures but even that would not do this incredible property & owners justice! While we went on some spectacular hikes you could also just hang out in the house and never be bored. How could you? The views from the whole house & every deck is simply breathtaking! We have never seen so many different colors in the sky that continuously change throughout the day. The house is a lot bigger than looks from the outside and the inside pictures. Every bedroom has a bathroom & jetted tub or steam shower except one! The decor is fabulous & we felt like it was Architectural Digest worthy! The owners were very sweet & accomodating. We had inquired about TV's in the bedroom before reserving & while there was not any in the bedrooms Robin made sure they were there for us upon our arrival! I mean seriously who does that!! For the life of me I can't figure out why owners don't put them in bedrooms of rentals but that's another story... The kitchen was well stocked which is nice because there is not really anywhere to get takout or go to dinner but why would you want to? We cooked some meals and brought them with us but we also cooked there too. There is a second bar/mini kitchen on the 2nd level. We didn't use the botton level much but to acess the outdoor jacuzzi. There is a pool table, basketball & 2 foosball tables down there. Maybe if there was a ping pong table we would've used the room. I guess the only cons were that it could've been a little cleaner overall. It seemed like a dog or pet recently stayed there as there was big pet fur balls randomly strewed about, a little dusty & the jetted tubs & bathrooms definitely could've used a deep clean as there was some pink mold in some areas. The bedding & pillows were ok but at this price point one would expect a higher quality. The hot tub needed a filter changed when we went to use it the first night so Robin made sure to have maintenance there first thing in the morning to do that without disturbing us. Robin and Kirk were a pleasure to deal with from prior to reserving until after departure. There is so much to do in the area and you could easily spend a week here although we only had 4 days. We will definitely be back next fall! YOU NEED TO STAY HERE!!!!!!!!!!

This place was better than the pictures. It was truly relaxing and beautiful place. The views are amazing. The hosts were responsive and helpful and the amenities like hot tubs and wet and dry saunas were easy to use.

The most beautiful home with the most stunning view

I can’t imagine a more perfect home, location, or property managers! I don’t know how it’s possible but the pictures don’t even do it justice. The only thing that tops the exquisite decor and top notch amenities (steam room, elevator, boulders from the mountain in the home) are the stunning panoramic vistas that are enjoyed through a wall of windows! I stayed there this weekend with my family for my wedding at Wintergreen Resort. We were able to all get ready on different floors while enjoying spectacular views, and we did our “first look” walking out to their circular overlook deck that is nestled amongst the rocks. It was such a unique and special place. Any friends or family who stopped by was amazed by this place. My friends are already asking when we can come back! To top it all off, the property managers were so friendly, responsive, and accommodating! This really is the best place on the mountain!

Amazing place to stay

Everything we could have asked for and more. We will definitely be back! The visit for me this time was for a work event. We were able to visit all of the local wineries and breweries and have a perfect house to stay in. It’s also a perfect location for a large family who enjoy the amenities Winter Green has to offer.

Stunning views! Wonderful property! Something for everybody

This property was PERFECT for our sister vacation. There was something for everyone and rooms for us all. Sisters, spouses, children of all ages were entertained, relaxed, adventurous. We used all of the decks (they each have their own vibe); lost track of each other in the many different entertainment spaces; sipped beer & wine while watching the sunset; gazed at the vast sky & stars at night. I couldn't have asked for anything better. Thank you so much for allowing us to visit this amazing space. We'll be back next year.

Great place - as advertised

This is one of those rentals that does not disappoint. The views alone are worth every penny. The facilities seem to be relatively new, so there are kinks to work out, but everything was clean and user friendly. Robin was great to work with and very responsive.
