We stayed here with a group of 7 and really appreciated the layout—plenty of sleeping space and bathrooms, which made it a great fit for a girls’ trip. The host was also responsive and helpful when we reached out.That said, we ran into a few issues during our stay. The biggest concern was the front door keypad, which appeared to stop working late one night when we returned home. Fortunately, one of our group had already gone back earlier—otherwise, we’re not sure how we would have gotten in. There was no backup entry option provided, and the back door keypad was also non-functional due to missing batteries. When we took the front door lock apart, the batteries were corroded. There were also some maintenance and cleanliness items that seemed to have been overlooked. We needed to have maintenance come out to address a severely backed-up shower drain, and the garbage disposal was clogged as well (which we ended up fixing ourselves). The home could benefit from a more thorough cleaning, particularly dusting baseboards and higher surfaces. The yard is a bit run down, and the alley behind the house had frequent activity that may make some guests uncomfortable.Overall, we still had a good time, but given the issues we encountered, we were surprised there wasn’t any acknowledgment or gesture from the host.
