I was very pleased at first when I walked in the door, everything was clean and orderly. Unfortunately a few big things made this stay less than comfortable for me. The first and most annoying thing was the heating and cooling system that barely operated, and output an awful whining sound the whole time it was running. I opted to simply sleep without the heat on just running the fireplace space heater because i literally couldn’t sleep with the noise, obviously this wouldn't work in the summer time.The host also didn’t provide toilet paper or dish soap both of which were on the list of things that would be provided. I messaged them about this and was told somebody would be by to drop the items off. Nobody ever actually followed through to ensure the items were dropped off so I was left to grab these for myself. Seems like toilet paper is an essential item at a vacation rental but maybe thats just me.The entryway of the property seems to be a wasp breeding ground, there were always 2-5 wasps buzzing around making me a bit uncomfortable as I came and went. I had one crawling all over me at one point when I was trying to make my dinner, luckily I escaped unscathed.The beds were decently comfortable however the pillows were tiny and lumpy. I think the most sleep I got in a night here was 5 hours, there are some definite improvements that should be made. Wish I could be more positive in my review but I simply did not enjoy this stay at all.
