hip vibe in good location. the museum aspects in the hotel areas were neat!

After a flawless stay at Bentonville 21C. I was excited for my 3 nights at this hotel. However my experience could not have been any more different. It started at the first impression from Pulling up the valet attendant was less than presentable, no bellmen service and a less than efficient check in. What a welcome, however It was a busy weekend in the city so we just attributed it to that. The room was small but decently appointed. I took a shower after my long flight and I noticed a puddle of water on the floor of bathroom, I thought it was from my shower, so i cleaned it up after several attempts i realized that the leak was coming from the toilet. The maintenance failed their repair attempt and I had to move to a different room. The change was not completed in the system and at several points my key card did not work. One morning i left on an morning run at 8am. I literally stumbled over the cleaning crew sprawled out in the halls music playing from their phones and a party vibe. By 4;30pm my room still had not been cleaned. I decided to go for a drink empty bar and wait for my room cleaning. There were dirty glasses and plates covering all the tables. The 3 staff were having a social gathering behind the bar. They did not take kindly to my request that they clear off their table. A surly lady finally took my order and 30 minutes later a cocktail And cookies arrived. By 5:30pm my room had the bed made but no coffee towel or water was restocked.

We pulled up for our check in at 430 (check in is at 4) after an exhausting road trip and tired kids to find out our rooms are not available right now and that they would call us when they are... ?? to which we called orbitz to cancel the room, and to book elsewhere. (There was also another very disgruntled customer also waiting for his room!) That’s when the manager then spoke with us through orbitz that we left the property, and left the reservation and they gave our room to “someone else” ? We never told them we wanted to leave the reservation. After about an hour on the phone, they told us they had a room for us. She said it was an artist designed room (some rapper from LA designed it) it was interesting to say the least. The kids did not feel comfortable or safe in this hotel with its odd art and eerie feel. Maybe we just aren’t “city” enough to understand some of it, but the markings in the artist designed room and the hodge podge of stuff and writings on the wall weren’t cool but irritating. We will never be back unless they change management and the decor. Other then that, the location was decent.

Our stay at 21C in Nashville was just disappointing. When we got to our room, there was a used bandaid on the floor next to the bed, the sheets were stained/ripped, and the room was overall dirty. We slept terribly as there were drunk people that were being super loud late into the night. We order breakfast to our room the next morning and the skim milk we were served was curdled with chunks in it. We could not wait to check out of this hotel.

Unique hotel with great walkability but is no longer the newest, cleanest, most impressive hotel in the neighborhood & the pricing should reflect that more. Little things like dirty tile grout in the shower, no slippers & firm/lumpy mattresses could be improved. The staff at valet & concierge were very helpful & nice while the bartenders as the restaurant were too preoccupied with their personal lives to provide great service (chatting with each other more about relationships instead of checking on orders, etc. on multiple occasions). Also I didn’t know this was a dog friendly hotel, I kept having to get in the elevator with wet dogs. There also seems to be no weight limit with the dogs because I saw a woman by herself with two very large dogs checking in. I just wouldn’t of expected a museum hotel to accommodate animals.

The rooms were decorated beautifully and very clean and had many nice bath amenities along with going the extra step with a terrific coffee bar. Room was much smaller than we are used to but, with all the plush amenities and overall comfort and beautiful decor, it was worthy of the trade off for more space. Only negatives were we had no view from our window other than a brick wall a hands length away. and although we only had one cup of coffee each when we woke, coffee bar was not replenished by housekeeping.

Excellent location. Very friend and great staff. Very nice rooms

This hotel was fabulous! If i had to find a down side, it would be the food. Great location, beautiful property, comfortable room, great staff! Absolutely enjoyed our stay!

Wonderful property. Easy location, friendly staff & unique experience with the museum being part of the hotel.

Great art. Tour w curator available Wednesday and Friday at 5:00pm. Worth the price of the room! Great location.

Beautiful hotel close to the uproarious downtown of Nashville but far enough away to get a great meal and a good night's sleep. Staff is over-the-top pleasant and accommodating. The art installation was amazing and worth a trip to see even if you don't stay here! Kudos esp to Melissa, Moira, and Greg for their assistance during our brief stay with them.

Exceeding customer expectations - on the first day of a three day stay, I had such an excellent experience with two employees that I wrote a note of recognition to the Operations Director. Over the following two days I discovered that excellent service was the standard all employees model. Looking forward to the next stay at a 21c Museum Hotel.

Great hotel for the price. A pool and coffee, not cappuccino, in th the room would be nice.

My husband and I celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary in this cozy boutique hotel. The front desk personnel were very friendly and helpful. The room was roomy and comfortable. It served as a sanctuary for our entire stay when Nashville’s temperatures reached from 90s to over 3 digits and never cooled off even thru the late evenings. The restaurant, Gray & Dudley, in the hotel was absolutely the best in Nashville. Their cuisine easily beat the top ranking restaurants, Etch and The Southern Steak & Oyster.

Interesting hotel. 42$ (after tax) valet parking on top of the over 300$ inside cube room. Yes you have a window, that looks right into the room next door. Ya, but it's cool cause it's artsy. Some of the exhibits are good, and the concept of the hotel is good. Just realize its going to cost you :) but the more you spend the better the view.

Hotel was great, but construction outside our room was noisy. We were walking distance to a ot of local attractions. Staff was Very friendly.

Staff was kind to upgrade our basic room to a gigantic suite. Furnishings were stylish and comfortable. Restaurant food was delicious. The museum exhibit was the highlight of our stay.

Hi there, Thanks for taking a minute out of your day to share your feedback with us! I'm thrilled to see you enjoyed yourself here, and to read that our location was convenient to your activities in Music City. I'm also glad you were able to explore our museum! Our exhibits are rotating, which means we'll have a bunch of new art in house at the end of the summer. We would love the opportunity to welcome you back! Until next time, Emily Meffert Executive Administrator

Mr. Robertson, I'm not really sure where to begin. I hope you will accept my apologies. It would be an understatement to say that I am concerned, surprised and embarrassed to read your feedback. I want to try and address the issues you surfaced. I agree with you that first impressions are so important. I will check to see who was working the night you arrived and address your feedback to ensure that the valet team is always in proper uniform. We always have bellman on duty. They may have been helping other guests and I'm sorry, that this caused you any inconvenience. Ugh, rough start for sure. The lack of hospitality that you experienced with the housekeeping team and in our bar is entirely unacceptable and I can assure you that I will be sharing your feedback and using it as an opportunity to reinforce our standards 100%. Our goal at every 21c is to provide over the top heartfelt hospitality to every guest and visitor that exceeds their expectations and we failed on your behalf. I promise you that we have an amazing team here at 21c Nashville that is committed to that goal, but clearly, this was not our finest hour and again, I am sorry. You know, it's wonderful to receive positive surveys and glowing feedback, but the reality is that as a GM I learn more from the constructive feedback. And, that said, I can't remember a review with this much opportunity to address. I promise you I will. One quick note on the tattoo event. That was a well planned event that raised a considerable contribution for Nashville PRIDE and we are very proud of that. I do think we learned some things that we can do better from an organizational standpoint (this was our first year), but all in all I think it was a very successful event. I hope you will accept my apologies and I hope that if you find yourself in a 21c destination you will give us another chance to win

Viktoria, Thank you for taking some time out of your day to share your feedback with us. The quality of our guest's experience here is our top priority, so your candor and attention to detail are very helpful as we reflect on addressing the issues you surfaced in your review. I'm sincerely sorry that your visit to 21c Nashville was not spectacular, as it should have been. In regards to your room cancellation, it sounds like there was a miscommunication among yourself, the Orbitz representative, and our front desk. I am certain none of the mentioned parties was motivated by ill will, and so can only apologize for any failures on our part to remedy the situation in a way that was satisfactory to you and your family. The room you stayed in is our Yung Jake Suite, named for the visual artist-musician-videographer who designed it, whose contemporary works are exhibited in museums and festivals around the world. I'm sorry your children did not feel comfortable or safe; I have stayed in hotels where I did not feel safe, and it is an awful feeling. Art is subjective, though, and perhaps the art we have in house now simply does not appeal to your preferences. That is okay; it is good to be able to reflect on what stirs your mind and soul, and what does not. If you do decide to return in the future, we would jump at the opportunity to welcome you. Warmly, Emily Meffert Executive Administrator

Philip I am not sure where to begin. I apologize. I am surprised, embarrassed and frustrated at the lack of quality hospitality you experienced. It is unacceptable at every level and the complete opposite of everything we strive to be at 21c Nashville. We expect to deliver an extremely high level of cleanliness, quality and heartfelt hospitality to every guest and visitor and normally, our team does a wonderful job, but we failed you completely and I'm sorry. Your feedback will be addressed with the team and I can assure you that we will use it as an opportunity to stress how important it is to be on our game 100% of the time in all areas. I hope you will accept my apologies and I hope that if you are in Nashville again you will give us another chance to win you over. Regards, Phil Forte General Manager
