A wonderful friendly stay in Naples

The most helpful host in Italy, lots of tips for our stay and arranged early breakfast for us for days we had trips booked. Location central in old town just off tribunal and 6 min walk to metro. Room was large and had everything we needed. Stairs keep you working off all the amazing cakes.

The room is on the 4th floor with large stairs. A bit tiresome to carry the luggage upstairs. The room is small with a twin bed added. We had a reservation for 4. It’s not comfortable for 4 people. The maximum number of people should not exceed 3 for this room. Other than that the location is good.

This property is hidden away behind a Ginormous 16th century door, and although there are a lot of stairs to get to the entrance of the B&B it is well worth the climb! The rooms are spacious, airy and full of everything you need. The breakfast area is light & refreshing with a gorgeous tile table. The shower was the best we'd had in all of Italy & our room had it's own heat/AC unit which was amazing. The innkeeper gave us a map & showed us things to do in the area & where to find the best pizza! Can't recommend this place enough!

Great location in the heart of the action. Excellent service. Beware 3 stories up but they carried our bag. It is right on the square in the corner. Look for the sign.

This B&B is in a very old part of town. Hard to get to even by taxi. The entrance is nothing like you’ve seen before. 84 steps up to the B&B. However, the owner and manager are very nice and accommodating. Rooms are spacious with good bathrooms. Bed is comfortable as well.

What I like most about the property was it was very comfortable, relaxing, cozy, and has great vibes. I felt very safe in this property. I love the fact that Fabio, the host, greet us upon our arrival, which is unusual at a Arbnb. Also, breakfast was amazing. What I disliked about the property was climbing 84 step with 2 suitcases. If you are coming to this property concern travel light.

The B & B is in a fantastic location and is excellent value for money. Staff are so friendly, courteous and make amazing coffee. As other people have said, there is no lift and it is 84 steps to the B & B door.

Utterly wonderful

Wonderful B&B in the heart of historic naples. The staff were wonderful and welcoming. The B&B is quiet, exceptionally clean and well presented with all the amenities you need. Breakfast is great also. Just bear in mind its on the 3rd floor up lots of steps with no lift. Don’t let that put you off though. Wonderful B&B and would highly recommend.

We were a little afraid of Naples at first, coming from calmer resort areas. Naples is so different and chaotic! But Iliana/Eliana (spelling?) was so welcoming and helped us acclimate to this city. She spent so much time helping us figure out our plans. We ended up having so much fun in Naples and in many ways decided we loved the city. We usually stay at hotels and this place is really a home with private hotel-style rooms within. This is why you should definitely communicate about your check in time beforehand. But once you are settled in, you feel so at home. I wore my pajamas to the big breakfast table and we talked with the other guests like we were family. We are usually very private people so this wasn’t like us, but we couldn’t help it—it just truly felt like home. Thanks a million Iliana! I am sorry I don’t know how to spell your name!

We received an amazingly friendly and helpful welcome from Iliana, who not only oriented us to the hotel, but gave us tips for pizza and gelato and souvenirs, arranged help for our luggage, booked a taxi to the airport for us, and arranged breakfast to be ready for us at the table even at our 4am departure time. The B&B is beautifully designed, clean, and comfortable. Well located right in the historic center. Only drawbacks are that the B&B is hard to find and get to by taxi, and that there are tons of stairs (and no elevator) so it's hard with heavy luggage and/or children. Otherwise, I highly recommend.

The PERFECT place to stay in Naples

This B&B was absolutely stunning. From start to finish we had the most wonderful time. Ileana looked after us so well and we couldn't have had a better time. Totally spotless, amazing location in the centre of the old town, varied breakfast options and tasteful decor. Couldn't fault it in any way. Do not stay anywhere else!

Lovely hotel, shame about the awful location

Although the apartment was lovely inside, the location was absolutely awful. We decided to walk from the train station (0.9 miles, 20 minute walk), and we have never been so scared in our lives. The streets are filled with people just ‘hanging’ about, the buildings look like they’re falling apart, and there is litter and grafetti everywhere. On arrival to the apartment, we were told that if wanted to go for food, to turn left from the hotel and not the right as it’s quite ‘dangerous’ - that’s the exact direction we had walked from, and at no point before arrival where we informed not to walk to the hotel and instead get a taxi. However, the receptionist was lovely and very helpful - she gave us great recommendations of where to get food (the best we’ve had in Italy and very cheap), and was able help with all of our queries. We can’t fault the hotel - it was just what we needed. However we just wish we knew what type of location it was in before we booked. We will never ever be returning to Naples after that experience.
