We were traveling with our 15 yeat old daughter and wanted a 2 bedroom place. This place had a beautiful view right on the lake. Staff was very friendly. Our place was spacious. It was outdated but we didn't care, it was clean and comfortable. Amenities were good...canoes we could use, laundry facility and a pool. There was also a good cafe across the street.
River Wilderness Waterfront Cabins places you next to Everglades City Hall and within a 10-minute walk of Museum of the Everglades. This 14-room villa welcomes guests with conveniences like an outdoor pool, free in-room WiFi, and free self parking.
The 14 individually decorated villas feature kitchens and patios, and there's space to spread out with a separate bedroom and sitting areas. I am pleased to hear you were able to take advantage of our amenities. You did not mention the screened in porch overlooking Lake Placid. I hope you were able to enjoy it as well.
