The Port of the Everglades Resort is pretty run down and does in no way match the nice pictures and upscale description. Everything is very outdated and basic. The doors have keypads with predictable codes (ours was 123456) instead of keycards and the whole place just feels very old and unsafe. Check-in after 5 pm was a nightmare since nobody was at the front desk and we have to call for somebody to come to meet us. This place definitely has hidden charm and there is the potential that it could be turned into a really great vacation resort, but at this time, we were very disappointed with our stay.

The room was average for that area. They warn you in the hotel information that the front desk is not well staffed. They aren’t kidding. They provide three phone numbers at the desk and front door for you to call or text. No one responds. Someone comes out from the bar area and says someone will be there shortly he is the cook, bartender, and the front desk staff. There is no WiFi. The staff also advised us that breakfast is from 8-10 am the following morning. Nope. That didn’t happen either. There isn’t any place besides the gas station that is close for any type of food early on the weeek d

Arrived at 7 pm. No one at front desk it's already "after hours". They have a number to call or text. I do both and leave messages. No response. Eventually another person knows where to find someone and I check in around 7:30. Charged $10 for some extra thing I have no idea.

A beautiful place in a very nice area! The Hotel has a lot of charm, the management is fantastic, the entire team very nice, kind and professional! Very recommendable for going into or out of the Everglades. Great Kajak and boat tours into the thousand island area. We had a wonderful time! Thanks!

It’s like a Spanish castle with hotel rooms. The staff was awesome and we felt right at home. We rode e-scooters and went to the pool. Super relaxing and chill vibes. Will definitely stay there again on our next trip to Naples. It’s really close to Naples and Marco Island and there’s a cool bar right around the corner.
