On the positive side, the location of this "resort" is good. It's within walking distance of downtown/beach/city dock. The unit we stayed in had a nice sized kitchen and a comfortable living room and large lanai. The master bedroom/bathroom was nicely decorated. However, there were several small negative issues that led to an overall underwhelming stay. We knew from reading other reviews that there are no elevators on the property so we requested (and received) a first floor unit. The view from our unit/building was of the neighboring park's busy parking lot and a small water view beyond that. We did not know that there is no daily maid service and they require you to take your own trash to the dumpsters before leaving. They charge a resort fee of ~$15/per day. The parking by the units is parallel spots, there are some normal spots at the end of the property. The tiki bar is open depending on if a bartender shows up to work or not & the weather. A local tour boat captain was acting as bartender for part of our stay because the bartender didn't show, and then there was a young lady who had just started. They were able to pour beer and wine, but anything more complex was beyond their combined skill set. Off brand alcohol was charged at premium prices. The second bedroom does not have an ensuite bathroom, which is probably fine for parents traveling with their young children, but it's not great for two adult couples since the secondary bedroom/bathroom hallway is directly next to the kitchen. The air conditioner was completely iced over when we arrived and never worked properly. The washer turned our load of whites pink. There were multiple trash bags in the front lawn almost daily. Lastly, the property was directly under the flight path for the Naples airport. During some parts of the day planes were landing over us every 2 minutes.

Well situated river front holiday property. Small Tiki bar and reception. No other facilities or activities offered. No lifts to the top floor apartments only stairs to levels 2 and 3. Lovely pool and view. Walking distance to local town, bars, restaurant, trolley bus route and museums etc. A little noisy at times because of airstrip nearby and this resort sits under the flight path. CAUTION when booking - I believe that this resort was badly hit by the 2017 Hurricanes. Refurbishment underway.

We have been visiting the Charter Club for many years but had not stayed here for quite some time before this trip. It is probably even better than the last time we stayed in 2008! We checked in late and the phone process to do this is very simple. Rooms are very comfortable 2 bed condo type accommodation. They have kept them updated and they have everything you need to be self sufficient. The initial supply of coffee and detergent is a nice touch. Pool area and the views of Naples Bay are great and all the equipment rental from bikes to beach chairs makes this a great place from where to explore Olde Naples.

We booked the resort through RCI. Although we were originally told that the RCI agent spoke to the resort and there was a first floor available, when speaking to the actual resort, found that this was not guaranteed. Since my mother would absolutely not be able to walk the stairs, we spoke to the manager. He was able to assure me that they could end up accommodating us. After our one week stay, i was so thrilled that this ended up working out. These condos were amazing. We did not want for anything. The two bedroom, two bath condo was extremely roomy. Even though it was just the two of us, a few more people would have fit as well. There was dish soap, and dishwasher soap, coffee filters, tea bags and even salt and pepper.Don't forget to turn on the ice maker! The beds were very comfortable, a king in one room and two twins in the other room. Although it did not really mind it, I would be amiss to not include the frequency of planes going over the resort. This is obviously in the flight path of Naples airport, mostly small private planes and larger charters. If you are seeking complete quite, then you may not like this. But as I said, I did not mind this. The resort is central to the beach, shopping and restaurants and walking or bike riding distance to most. Very disappointing though, that a very wealthy town like Naples has pay to park spaces on the blocks bordering the beach accesses. Seriously Naples, with the plethora of million dollar houses in the area, they should be able to afford to forego this (sorry for this opinion inserted). I will definitely recommend this resort to others. The staff was pleasant, and the happy hour drinks at the tiki bar are a plus. Wifi, bike use, beach chair use etc is included in the $14 a day amenity fee so I will say no to free wifi in my comments.

We have been owners at Charter Club for many years, so we have come to expect a very high standard. We are not disappointed. Everything from the quality of the apartment and the maintenance of the property is first class. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Great property with superior maintenance. Most units have water view. Units are huge with a huge mania as well. Waterfront pool and tiki bar. This is our second day here and we are already planning our next visit. Don't know why we never came here before.

Rooms more than adequate, with two minor problems dealt with quickly and efficiently. Pool very pleasant, large enough for the complex, with a reasonable Tiki Bar, staffed by a very friendly young lady who obviously loves what she is doing- only a pity it has to close so early!

Nice view of the bay. Beach and restaurants nearby. Trip to the pier always a good evening activity. Strolling along 5th Avenue and Third Street pleasant. Driving to Marco or Everglades City worth the trip. Be sure to charter a fishing boat to fish the reefs offshore.

We stayed here through RCI for a week. The hotel is older but well kept, nice sized rooms with a screened porch. Kitchen is well equipped. Our unit had a great view of the boats that come and go. Pool area is small but very clean with a lovely view of the bay. Only complaint was the resort fee we were charged for spotty internet service and a really lousy assortment of chairs for the beach. Buy your own chairs at Publix for $10. The beach is about a mile away so you have to pay to park $2.50 an hour. We preferred the pool. They let people smoke on the screened patios unfortunately that wafts into others patio spaces. Bikes available for use, a great family place.

Stayed at this place in July very nice place, about 10 mins walk from the beach and naples pier. If I did have a complaint it would be about the minute ants that seem to get in the apartment, although they didn't cause any problems,I would certainly stay there again
