This newly renovated historic home is over 4000 square feet with a stone wrap around porch and pool, is an exceptional oasis fully equipped with a Chef's kitchen, Quartz countertops, professional appliances and Wine Cooler, about a 15-minute walk to the village of historical Downtown Mystic This exceptional home boasts a stunning master bedroom with en-suite bathroom, powder room and an open floor plan which incorporates the Kitchen, Dining, living room, with 50-inch Smart TV. The den opens up the covered stone porch with a comfortable seating and dining area seating for 10 which leads to the Pool area that offers a 20 X 40 in ground swimming pool 3 feet deep on the shallow end and 8 feet at the deep end, and ample outdoor lighting. There is a Weber gas grill and chaise lounges. The second floor provides the Master Bedroom with king bed and ensuite master bath with soaking tub and Steam Shower , Guest bedroom with king bed, Guest Room with queen bed, and Guest room with 2 twin beds, large shared bathroom for guests, large Laundry Room with front loading washer and dryer . Third Floor has 3 Twin Beds- set up great for kids. Sonos sound system throughout home. Bicycles are available to use to ride to town or the beach if you like.

Absolutely beautiful
We had a wonderful stay in Maureen’s lovely home. Everything about it was perfect. Every room was beautifully decorated but so cosy and comfortable. Kitchen was superb and everything you could possibly need. The stone porch and pool were our favorite places at any time of day, so relaxing. It is also extremely private and peaceful with very petty grounds. It was really perfect all around, thank you Maureen!

A+ In Every Respect
This is simply a lovely, inviting, comfortable home that provides many places, indoors and out, to relax and enjoy family and friends. You will not be disappointed.
Throughout the house you will see a professional designer's attention to detail, color and quality. There are both formal spaces (living room, dining room) and more informal spaces (kitchen, family room, stone porches); the traditional spaces blend seamlessly with the more updated and modern, and they all are all welcoming and comfortable. There is a generously-sized pool and a large yard with well-maintained plantings. The setting is peaceful and quiet.
The highlights for our group were the kitchen, which is unbelievably well-equipped, and the adjacent family/tv room, which was a perfect size for our group of 5. We were also heavy users of the stone porch, which was lovely for an early cup of coffee or an outdoor dinner. The master bedroom/bath combination was also first-class.
As indicated, you are just a few minutes (1.5 miles) outside Mystic, so dining and shopping are close at hand. Day trips to destinations along the coast (beaches, etc.) are easy and fun.
The owners are available and attentive - happy to help with a concern or provide local knowledge.

Lovely family getaway
We had a delightful week here. Mostly hung out at the house, cooking in the beautiful, well-equipped kitchen, reading on the porch, lounging by the pool. My two-year-old granddaughter loved the outdoor shower. Easy walk into the center of Mystic, lots to explore in the other direction as well. Beautiful property, excellent location.

Wonderful stay!
We had a lovely time at this beautiful home! It is decorated beautifully and the pool is so lovely. You don’t need to leave the house! My kids were in it nonstop. The location is great as it’s close to mystic town which has restaurants and shops. We also went to a local beach. If we needed anything Maureen and John were there immediately to help us. It was a great experience!

Just what the Doctor ordered.
During this crazy pandemic we were looking for a comfortable, secluded place to stay. This newly renovated home with a pool and outdoor porch allowed us to spend quality time together, with my extended family. We spent a lot of time cooking in the well stocked kitchen. Bedrooms and bathrooms were beautiful and comfortable. Maureen did an amazing job decorating the home, and was a gracious host. This home exceeded my expectations.

Absolutely wonderful!
We had a spectacular week here at Maureen’s lovely home in Mystic. The property is amazing, situated high on a ridge an surrounded by huge old trees and dogwoods. Large glacial rocks dot the property and there was lots of room for kids to explore. The house was chic and comfortable. Great beds, beautiful baths, and an incredibly well stocked kitchen. Maureen was friendly and accommodating and we found it hard to leave! Best of all was the dining on the veranda. Even in hot weather, there always seemed to be a lovely breeze. Debbie

100 year old home meets fresh full renovation by amazing designer. Clean, comfortable & 1st class
Best feature was the porch! Think we had every meal on that amazing table for 8 and spend most days lounging on chairs. Always had a nice breeze
