Liked the view of Mackinac Bridge from our balcony. Someone was smoking on their balcony so I couldn't enjoy sitting outside in the fresh air with my morning coffee. Breakfast area was too small and long line for waffle maker. Didn't use the pool. Room was clean.

The property and room were great! The only thing we would have liked would have been a complimentary breakfast option - the room cost itself is on the high side so it would have been nice to grab a quick breakfast before taking off to explore the island.

Waterfront rooms are right on the water - but view may be obstructed by ferry bldg rooftop. Rooms are small and furniture could use an update, but we got a room on the 3rd floor and enjoyed having a balcony. The wine, fudge and taffy were a nice treat! Front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. Best prices for bike rental (Rybas) just one door down. Seabiscuit and Mary's were both delicious places to dine. Grand Luncheon experience at The Grand really is a nice experience!

Stayed for 4 nights to do a bike trip on several rails to trails. Good location and nice river view behind. Owner was very attentive.
