Great place to stay!! This is my third year staying here. The staff is great, Rooms are always clean.

The place is pretty cheap - low end bathrooms, terrible mattresses, ok kitchens, etc. the "bar" is closed Sunday and Monday and the outdoor pools and lazy river are not heated. It doesnt cost much to stay here and now we know why. I would NOT stay here again unless it was for one night and on the way to somewhere else.

I reserved a 3 BR/ 3 Ba DELUXE condo. Horrible from the start as I took my bags up to the room only to find out I was assigned a 2 BR condo. I went back to front desk to show the print out of my reservation and was informed my room had been given away. WTH!! So I had to wait in lobby for half an hour for management to find a solution. I should have been tipped off that this hotel's service was horrible as a lady stood in line (African American) and when she was next and walked to the counter. The guy at front desk looked around her and asked who is next then proceeded to ask two gentlemen who had just walked in (white) if they had been there before her. Obviously she was next as she was standing directly in front of you and everyone else single file behind her. Just seemed a little racist to me and everyone else in the lobby. But anyways after waiting They came up with a smaller 3 BR STANDARD with less square footage and less beds which did not meet my accommodation (the reason I did not select this on in the first place). They did not offer to reduce the amount I prepaid for so I basically ended up paying for a DELUXE room and staying in the STANDARD. I called management as soon as I walked in the room to tell my dissatisfaction but got no return call. I called the following day and was transfered to the General manager's [...] voice mail. Left a message and still got no response. So on the last day I went to complain about the rate I paid compared to what was given to me and the manager was very argumentative and claimed I should have contacted them sooner. WTH!!! The hotels Customer service is absolutely the worst!

This was my first time here and I would come back again.I usually dont have to pay for my place to stay because my family owns a condo at the other Tilghman Resort down the street but it was booked so I decided to try this one. Very nice. A couple of tips: dont stay near the elevators if you arent a sound sleeper. If you stay in the room closest to the door you will hear the elevator dinging all night. Also its a big resort with only one pool so you have to get out there early if you want a seat. Probably should have two pools for resort that size. But all in all we would come back! Thanks for the great stay!

By looking on the website I thought this hotel was going to be closer to the beach - not across a 4-lane highway and behind other condos on the beachfront, so that was pretty disappointing. We had an ocean view unit with a balcony (they all have balconies), but they all are over the pool, so while we could see the ocean, we heard all the noise from the pool and the highway, so it was really relaxing to sit out there. On the upside, our 3-bedroom unit was new, spacious, and well appointed - perfect for our family. The pool, hot tub, lazy river, and water fountain area was very nice as well. At check-in we tried to check in at 1:00, but it was not ready until the guaranteed ready time of 4:00, which of course was a bit of a pain. Also, the front desk woman at that time, while not totally rude, had a don't-bother-me attitude and did not seem fit for her job working with customers. However, others working at different times seemed much friendlier and more helpful.

We made a reservation 3bed/3bath ocean view corner, yet for some reasons, corner sites were fully booked, and we had to stay at a regular room. I am not sure if it was Orbits fault or hotel's. but it was not a good experience.

Our recent trip to the Tilghman Beach and Golf Resort was an outstanding trip. We had brought a few friends that had never been to Myrtle Beach before. We had an outstanding oceanview condo room that was breathtaking. The view was priceless. Our whole party was extremely satisfied with this room, it was very spacious and very clean. We enjoyed many trips to Myrtle Beach but this was by far the best. We all really enjoyed the lazy river and the pool facilities. This trip we enjoyed a few shows and the ladies always enjoy the shopping at Myrtle Beach. This hotel has very easy access to the beach on the front side of the hotel and has a beautiful golf course for the golfers behind the hotel. I also liked their private parking garage in the hotel too. This hotel is extremely clean and the staff was very friendly. Thank you again Tilghman Beach for this experience hope to see you again next year.

I loved this place! Great N. Myrtle Beach location. Beach was not crowded and the room was awesome for the $$. Can't wait to go back!!!

great for the $$

This was my first time here and I would come back again.I usually dont have to pay for my place to stay because my family owns a condo at the other Tilghman Resort down the street but it was booked so I decided to try this one. Very nice. A couple of tips: dont stay near the elevators if you arent a sound sleeper. If you stay in the room closest to the door you will hear the elevator dinging all night. Also its a big resort with only one pool so you have to get out there early if you want a seat. Probably should have two pools for resort that size. But all in all we would come back! new and fairly nice for non-beachfront

outstanding getaway trip

Our recent trip to the Tilghman Beach and Golf Resort was an outstanding trip. We had brought a few friends that had never been to Myrtle Beach before. We had an outstanding oceanview condo room that was breathtaking. The view was priceless. Our whole party was extremely satisfied with this room, it was very spacious and very clean. We enjoyed many trips to Myrtle Beach but this was by far the best. We all really enjoyed the lazy river and the pool facilities. This trip we enjoyed a few shows and the ladies always enjoy the shopping at Myrtle Beach. This hotel has very easy access to the beach on the front side of the hotel and has a beautiful golf course for the golfers behind the hotel. I also liked their private parking garage in the hotel too. This hotel is extremely clean and the staff was very friendly. Thank you again Tilghman Beach for this experience hope to see you again next year.
