The location was great, halfway between Myrtle and North Myrtle. The beach was nice, the grounds were typical. I did like the wrap around balcony and beautiful Beach views of the sunrise and the Moon. However, I stayed Friday through Wednesday and I would definitely avoid the weekends as it was noisy and crowded. Two of our bedrooms overlooked the pool which was noisy till after 11:00 p.m. Although the property was non-smoking, we constantly smelled cigar and cigarette smoke coming from balconies, the garage beneath our floor, and the boardwalks. The room could have used updating. Everything was old and dingy, especially the seat cushions in the dining area. The tub in the second bathroom wouldn't drain unless you held the lever the whole time. The Resort lists mini golf on the premises, but was disappointed to learn it closed a year ago. I also paid extra for a specific floor in the Savoy building and was switched to a lower floor that I didn't want a few days before I checked in. I also noticed the price of a 3 BR condo dropped significantly right before I checked in.
