We really enjoyed this house! Great location, great views! Stayed with our large family!! Had everything we needed and when we found things we didn’t have the host was so accommodating! Would highly recommend! Can’t say enough about the host…was very helpful! Would stay there again!

We had an amazing stay at this house on the water in Myrtle Beach! The views were absolutely beautiful, and being right on the water made it extra relaxing. The house was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was close to restaurants and attractions, yet quiet enough to enjoy peaceful mornings by the water. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a perfect getaway spot!

Amazing house for a family vacation

The house was set up well for our extended family to gather and still have their own space. Highlights of the property included proximity to all of Myrtle Beach activities, located right on the beach, plus a private pool and hot tub.

Outrageous clutter

We arrived at 4:15, 15 minutes after the agreed checkin time and there were 5 vehicles in the driveway. We could not get into the residence until after 5pm EST when all the cleaning crews left. When we got in we found a dirty and cluttered mess. It’s our guess that the owner has not been there in years, every inch of the property inside and out contained items left by the previous tenants. Every closet, pantry area, drawer, cabinet was overrun with stuff, mostly garbage that we had to work thru to find items to service our stay. We gave into the mess and decided to clean it up on our own to make the vacation passable. We’re massive annual users of VRBO and this was not up to standard, not even close. We asked the owner about a refund given how bad the situation was. They offered to give us. Late checkout 11am on our departure day and buy us ice cream. We won’t return here and other should make sure the residence has been professionally cleaned and decluttered before staying at this property.

Family Vacation

We had a wonderful stay. Will definitely rent again. Enough space for everyone, clean kitchen with dishwasher. Washer and dryer easy to access from the living room. Kids love the pool. Fenced in yard for the dog.

Perfect location on the beach.

The house is on a part of the beach which has mostly private residences so the beach was never crowded. The beach is a short walk from the house. The main room of the house was attractive and comfortable with three sofas to sit and visit with family or friends. The space behind the house is perfect for sitting in the sun or shade and watching the ocean. There is a pool and hot tub to enjoy with many pool toys and floats. There was an abundance of chairs for the deck or beach. The host contacted us and made sure we knew he was available if we had any problems. He was very helpful. We will be back.

Great location, house needs some love.

We were a family group of 15 ages 5 - 76. We needed 6 bedrooms and bathrooms. The house size was adequate. It was not very clean when we arrived. We did our own cleaning. There were some other home and pool issues. Our property manager, David, was very responsive. Some issues were resolved others never were. Be aware, this is an 85 year old home. It's a little quirky and squeaky.

We had an amazing time in Myrtle Beach. The house was exactly as described. The house was roomy and comfortable with 6 adults and 6 kids (ages 6 and under) we never felt on top of each other. The location is excellent and the pool is outstanding. It was hard to get the grandkids out of it. David the host was very responsive, friendly and checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. I would definitely stay here again and will recommend this house to my friends.

Beachside @ Myrtle

This is an incredible home directly on the sands of Myrtle Beach, next to the 37th Ave N beach access. Close to restaurants and activities, but away from the hotel and college-rental crowds. This home has a private pool and spa in a private fenced yard, and plenty of room inside. It is clean and well maintained, and the host is easily reachable and very responsive.

Enjoying Myrtle Beach with Family

Great house for a large group, conveniently located for activities to get the most of Myrtle Beach!Access to the beach was phenomenal and coming back to relax in the hot tub and swim in the pool was awesome.David the Host was very responsive and made sure that our needs were well taken care of. Highly recommend for making wonderful family memories.

Posh Ocean Front? Better to remove POSH

I don’t know where to start. They should remove POSH word in the property listing to avoid misguiding people. We checked in the property on August 30th and were supposed to stay until September 2nd. However, due to a series of serious issues, we were forced to cut down our vacation short and checked out on September 1st without staying all 3 nights. The prior 2 nights also we had stayed because of falsified information by the host to the VRBO. Everything is communicated via VRBO chat messages with the host. Sometimes host responded outside VRBO but I tired to bring back to VRBO. Here is the listing of the issues 1. The AC is not working as soon as we stepped in to the property. This was a disaster. This is the biggest issue among all and the way host carried out addressing this issue to save his rental is bizarre. 2. The basement bathroom emits a foul smell. 3. The bathroom and bedroom doors are getting locked and not opening. 4. The bathroom flush is not working in 2 bathrooms. 5. Pool water hose is not turning off. Rusted and in the worst condition to turn on and off. 6. House is not cleared before checking in – Trash is clearly visible in the kitchen. 7. Unsafe Patio conditions - patio chairs were filthy, rusted, and covered with cobwebs From the moment we arrived, we encountered several major issues that significantly impacted the comfort and safety of our stay. We have spent all our time engaging the contractors. I never recommend this property.

Amazing Vacation spot!

We loved our stay, home is beautiful and amazing with very responsive host. We had everything you could possibly want, private pool, hot tub, plenty of games to play, we felt right at home. The views are breathtaking and amazing, quiet neighborhood with plenty of privacy and direct beach access. We loved it!!!

60th Wedding Anniversary/Reunion

We held my parents' 60th anniversary and family reunion at this location. The space was large enough to accommodate 20+ people on the day of the celebration. There were plenty of things for visitors to do while there: pool, ocean, cornhole, ping pong, and shuffle-board. The upstairs bedrooms were perfect for our group. There are 4 upstairs bedrooms all with their own bathrooms. There isn't a stand-alone upstairs bathroom. The communication with the owners was excellent. They were very responsive and handled the few issues that arose. Overall, a great location that enhanced the experience of the anniversary/reunion.

Great location and lots of space

We needed a space for 16 adult family members to get together and this was a great spot for that. Everyone had a place to sleep, we had room for 7 cars to park out front. A refrigerator for food and one for drinks. Kitchen was nicely stocked but take a sharp knife and cutting board if you need to prepare meals. The outside was perfect and being able to walk right on to the beach was well worth it! There were a few issues but nothing that interfered with our trip. The host was quick to answer messages and when I called, someone actually answered the phone. I would love to do a 5 star review, but the issues we had were inconvenient.

Location Location Location!

This was an amazing property. We spent a week with family and friends for our 20th anniversary. While the house has a few things that could be improved, the outdoor space and location were worth every penny. The property manager was easy to communicate with and always replied in a timely manner. We will definitely keep this house on the list for next year. Thanks David!
