The place was clean and i like that they had replaced carpet,but the kitchen counters were full of ants had to go buy bug spray.

Loved everything about the property and the staff was very friendly and beautiful!

Be careful when booking- the Orbitz add us not very clear and misleading. You are booking a stay at the resort- which is a very large area with townhomes, Villas, and the resort towers. The booking agent places you wherever there is room so you are not guaranteed a spot in the resort tower pictured on the add. If you are in a Villa- there are no elevators! So make sure you place all special requests in your booking. We did not know all this and were blind sided when we showed up and were placed in a Villa on the third floor. We had two people with limited physical abilities in our group and the stairs were impossible for them. Thankfully, the staff was accommodating and switched us to a ground floor Villa. We were a bit upset as we thought we’d be at the resort tower with the huge pools but we did have access to them so we just drove there daily- it worked out ok. Another issue to be aware of- all of the villas as privately owned and some are better cared for than others. The first night on the third floor- the Villa was disgusting. We found blood stains on the sheets, toilet paper rolls under the bed, nasty carpet stains that looked like vomit, hard awful beds, and several broken/run down areas of the villa. The second Villa we were moved to was in beautiful condition and well cared for with newer beds. So you are not getting consistency between Villa’s like you would at a hotel resort. A very different experience than we were expecting. Pool was great!

no kitchen towels. 2 rolls of toliet paper for 2 bathrooms. dirty laundry in master bedroom closet. I informed them via email (no one in on Saturday or Sunday unless emergency) & no one came to look into it. It took maintaince 8 hours to bring a remote for TV. Only 2 small skillets & one small pan for cooking. plus medium stock pan.

Property was ok had bare necessities... Back screen door was broken and sliding closet doors in guest bedroom was broke. Supppose to sleep 5 but no sheets for the 5 person at all. I was charged an additional 102 resort fee and cleaning fee!! That not cool!!

it was advertised as a resort but was only a private condo where I had to pay extra fees for cleaning and pool use.

My family and I had a nice stay in the condo. There were plenty of room as well as very clean. The view of the golf course is amazing. The only thing I couldn't understand were why charge a cleaning fee if you tell your guess to clean everything themselves. Plus buy their own cleaning supplies, and take out their own trash before they leave. Also do the laundry.

Check in staff not very helpful, needed to return the next morning for the Wifi code. checking out there were 5 of us in line. after along time a second staff member finally came to help.

Nice and lovely and would stay again. Check out was too early tho

Hotel was just ok. I had a few issues that weren’t tended to in a timely manner. Shower curtain in 1st bedroom had mold on it. Shower in master had mold. No extra blankets for a 4bedroom suite. This place is just okay. I would stay again but I would bring my own sheets/blankets/towels.

When we arrived at our room around 9:00pm, I immediately noticed that the floors were dirty in the kitchen. Silverfish bugs were all over kitchen area and the living room. The bed sheets appeared dirty with crumbs in the bed. The dresser drawers in the kids room was nasty with candy paper and sticky chocolate all inside, trash behind the dresser and bed, and if that wasn't nasty enough there was clothe, or moth larvae in one of the beds. We thought they were maggots until I googled the picture. I immediately called the office with my concerns and was told that I had to wait until the morning. My kids were creeped out so they all wanted to sleep on the sofa bed. When I pulled that out there were dirty sheets left on it. Our first night was a nightmare. The next morning I called the office at least 5 times before I could get someone to answer. When I did, I was directed to a managers voicemail, where I left a lengthy message. I waited at least two hours for someone to call me back , but never received a call. I tried calling again and could not get a person on the phone, so I got in my car to address this in person. When I told the ladies at the front desk my situation, I was told that they could not give me another room because they were fully booked. They said that they would get housekeeping to bring clean sheets and do a deep cleaning. I wasn't happy about this but I felt like I didn't have a choice but to stay there. Well housekeeping showed up with one sheet. I'm done!

The pictures used by Orbitz are misleading. The Barefoor Landing Resort have thectowers and villas in residential area. We thought we book a condo on towers but this is not guaranteed. The staff were not able to change our condo , even though we call early in morning before they assign the rooms. Maintenance is hard to reach and they took awhile to response. It is far from beach.

Not clean beds are like rocks king bed is 2 twin beds pushed beside each other. Have pics of fridge Handel before and after We cleaned it just dirty

Room was ok, But we were afraid to sit on the couch because it looked like animals were sleeping on it. It looked so bad.

Nice place, some issues with rear patio door being broken at bottom by door plate. One bedroom had broken headboard on bed. Other than those minor things place was wonderful and staff were very pleasant. I would stay here again if I ever come back to North Myrtle Beach.

A very beautiful place and very quiet and safe. By far the best place I’ve stayed in North Myrtle and I’ve been coming here for years. Pros- Quiet, Safe, Relaxing, away from all the hustle and bustle, overall the best experience I’ve had yet in North Myrtle accommodation wise. Cons- Freezer leaking into Fridge, shower curtain was moldy and some maintenance issues needed called to fix, cosmetic damage to place stains on carpet wall some carpet missing but overall a great experience minus maintenance and some cleanliness issues.

My family and I had a nice stay in the condo. There were plenty of room as well as very clean. The view of the golf course is amazing. The only thing I couldn't understand were why charge a cleaning fee if you tell your guess to clean everything themselves.
