We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Staff at front desk were friendly. The beds were a little stiff but comfy. Shower was very nice. Hotel has a nice breakfast buffet and also makes omelettes. The food was also good by the pool. Bartenders made good drinks as well. Pool area was small but very nice. Weather was too cool for a dip though. Hotel has shuttles every two hours 24hours a day to go into town which was awesome. Take it and save a taxi fare!
We stayed here for 2 nites. The staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. They were helpful with great restaurant recommendations. The room was comfortable, and clean. We asked for a room on the 2 or 3 level ( as per other reviews on TripAdvisor) and they upgraded us to a corner suite with a great water view. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful with made to order omelets and Greek delicacies. Highly recommend this hotel.
Beautiful breathtaking views from our room and delish breakfast. The hotel offers free shuttle to town every 2 hours. Free WiFi the ought the hotel. Friendly staff. Definitely recommend! Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable
I stayed here in April and saw a bed bug on the wall. I thoroughly checked the sheets, mattresses and bed frames and didn't see any further evidence of an infestation so I wasn't too concerned. However, by the second night, my roommate had a few bite marks which turned very itchy the next day. Luckily, we were already on our way to a different island. Other than the bed bugs, the hotel seemed okay. The hotel restaurant was good and the staff were very nice. Their cheesecake was amazing. There wasn't anything to do within the immediate area and you either had to wait for the hotel shuttle (comes every 2 hours), or walk 15 minutes up/down steep terrain to get into town. Unfortunately, we were kept up on the first night due to the constant noise of unlatched shutters from one room over banging in the wind.
I have to say our whole stay was awesome. The front desk folks was very helpful and friendly. The place was awesome! Location was very convenient and they had a shuttle every couple of hours which was not nice.
We stayed in room 111 which was 2 short flights of stairs up and had a small balcony with an open view of the Aegean Sea. The hotel was clean and comfortable and had a great buffet breakfast with an omelet station, several bakery items, fresh fruit, yogurt, bread, etc. We liked that we could order food by the pool and the hotel has a complimentary shuttle bus. The only issue, which was promptly fixed, was the shower water flowed out of the shower onto the bathroom floor from an apparent drain issue. We rented an automatic car for 50 Euros for 24 hours which included insurance so we could explore the island. I highly recommend renting a car for a day but expect to encounter very narrow roads in the downtown area and limited parking. We parked in the parking area behind the windmills. The car was dropped off and picked up at the hotel. Sent The staff was helpful and courteous. Overall, a lovely place to stay for the 3 nights we were on Mykonos.
My wife and I found ourselves on a tour because of an excellent end-of-season price. We did not have overly high expectations for our accommodation, but the San Antonio turned out to be an outstanding property by any standards. Though a (lovely) 15 minute walk from downtown Mykonos, the hotel provides a regular shuttle bus into town. But the walk down the hill was so scenic, following a trail that winds down toward the sea through whitewashed stone walls, that we never bothered with the bus, walking both ways, day and night. And, if you're in reasonable shape, the climb is not as bad as reported -- we're 70 and enjoyed the exercise. The advantage of the location is that you are up in the hills with panoramic views from your personal balcony out over the harbour and blue Aegean. And prices are lower than for comparable accommodation in town. We found the rooms to be well appointed and designed, and the entire hotel attractive and nicely laid out. The staff was outstanding, and the breakfast, including fresh fruit and made-to-order omelettes, was the best we had on our trip. We also appreciated the recommendation of a local tour guide, Angelos Chrysanthakopoulos, who took us around the island in his personal car, including sites normally well off the regular tourist trail. A seventh generation islander with a fierce love for and commitment to Mykonos, we also learned much about the island's history, culture and current issues.
This hotel was about 10 minutes from the port where our ferry came into from Athens. It uphill from the sea, but you did have a view of it. There were 3 levels of rooms, most of which had balconies. It had a bar in the lobby, a pool and bar/restaurant by the pool. The waiting time for the food was very long, but food was good. Breakfast zerved buffet style in a room on same level as lobby was very good! Someone in our tour group, however, had their passports and money stolen from their safe in their room second day there. After that we made sure we took all valuables items with us and were very concerned. I deliberately marked our closet with the safe in it so I'd know if someone opened it, and someone did! Nothing was taken, but I was very disturbed by this. I was told this was a four star hotel, but i would rate it a 3 star at best. The bathroom had plumbing issues and several other people complained about the same thing. I don't think i come back here again, especially after the theft issue.
Booked to stay here this week 3 months ago. Spoke to the hotel Monday afternoon to request a cot and was told this was done. Travelled to airport night before flight with my wife and baby to get an email from hotel saying that the reservation was not on their systems. Called my agent expedia immediately who called the hotel. Hotel said reservation was cancelled due to seasonal closure...well the day before the hotel were offering me a free transfer from the airport. Unacceptable from any hotel, never mind a 4 star. Ended up cancelling entire holiday as no alternative accommodation found. Told to fly out with baby and hope something could be found. Absolute crazy advice! Wouldn't stay here if it was the last place on earth now.
The room we got was a decent size With a living room and separate bedroom, could probably sleep 5 if needed. The hotel staff was very helpful and had a car delivered to us to rent. The room wasn’t the cleanest. I’d bring my own sheets and pillow. As other stated there is a free shuttle that runs every two hours. I don’t think room service is an option. At least we didn’t have any menu to order off of.
